Just to be clear since it is my comment you quoted, I personally haven't and no longer use the workflow, so can't help.

I have found that, when a folder gets ignored with this workflow, content within the folder and sub-folders isn't. Actually, I wanted to do that. I read someone talk about excluding stuff from Spotlight, and I totally forgot about that. This excludes all nested folders as well. Am I getting it right? This workflow is to exclude specific files — something Spotlight allows you to do. So why did the need for this workflow arise?

I've followed all your recommendations and made sure that the issue is not on Spotify side. All configurations, plists and caches were cleared, and a fresh app install made. I can only think of re-installing workflow itself as the next logical troubleshooting step. Alfred debugging didn't give much anything relevant to my issue and PHP is up-to-date. Is there something you could recommend to help?

Hi, Is there a way to not launch the Spotify window when I choose a playlist to play through Alfred? Each time I do, it brings Spotify window as frontmost app and then plays the playlist. Is this something that can be changed so the Spotify GUI stays hidden all the time?

How to change Alfred's apperance using a workflow?
Kamil replied to Kamil's topic in Workflow Help & Questions
Right, I understand what you meant now. If I choose an Alfred theme when I’m in light mode, Alfred will remember to use that theme in light mode. Same with a dark mode theme. Thank you. -
How to change Alfred's apperance using a workflow?
Kamil replied to Kamil's topic in Workflow Help & Questions
I think you might have misunderstood my question. I want to change modern theme to modern dark theme for Alfred on sunset, just as all other apps change theme to a dark one on sunset on my system. -

How to change Alfred's apperance using a workflow?
Kamil posted a topic in Workflow Help & Questions
I don't like how in Alfred you can only either choose the modern dark or white theme. For all apps in my system, I have a light/dark sunrise/sunset schedule. After going through all automations within Alfred as well as system tasks, I could not find a way to achieve the same for Alfred 5. Is this possible? -

This has helped a lot! I dug around some more and configured many settings with some trial and error. For further help, are you able to send me some links/articles about improving Alfred's search scope if you have that? (Guides on getting more advanced, for instance) I'll dig around on my own. Thanks again!

There's a known issue in Ventura where the System Settings panes are not working as expected with Alfred, and this is what the System Settings workflow solves: https://al fred.app/workflows/alfredapp/system-settings/ However, the original icons still show up in the search and are often preceded by the System Settings workflows options despite of months of use of the workflow's search. To fix this, I tried to exclude the supposed folder where they are found from Spotlight search in `System Settings > Spotlight search categories > Spotlight Privacy`. However, this did not work. Is there some way to fix this bug by excluding the system settings option from Alfred's search scope? Thanks,

Hey, fellow human beings! I require some assistance in regard to making my butler's search scope more relevant. When I search for anything, I receive many irrelevant searches: https://share.cleanshot.com/q7d5l6F1. I mostly search for apps and files. I know you can use the `~` to search the root folder. I know you can find, open, and use `'` to search for files. So I don't need to see all those irrelevant files and other stuff that lives in my library and other places. I think a good way would be to hide those potentially irrelevant search results unless a special symbol is used for a "deep search" inside of my system. Or some configuration within the Alfred settings? But I'm not sure what settings could be changed in order to achieve my desired result. I would appreciate some assistance and resources so I could "help myself" in this regard. Also, I re-indexed Spotlight multiple times over the months (which was the thing recommended to me to do), but it never worked. It was done, but the results were still pretty irrelevant.
