  1. Alfred's system commands always trigger windows to re-open on launch, even if the functions in the system's menu bar options are ticked off. I re-created the issue multiple times on Alfred 5.5 [2255] Version is Sonoma 14.4
  2. I've followed all your recommendations and made sure that the issue is not on Spotify side. All configurations, plists and caches were cleared, and a fresh app install made. I can only think of re-installing workflow itself as the next logical troubleshooting step. Alfred debugging didn't give much anything relevant to my issue and PHP is up-to-date. Is there something you could recommend to help?
  3. Hi, Is there a way to not launch the Spotify window when I choose a playlist to play through Alfred? Each time I do, it brings Spotify window as frontmost app and then plays the playlist. Is this something that can be changed so the Spotify GUI stays hidden all the time?
  4. Right, I understand what you meant now. If I choose an Alfred theme when I’m in light mode, Alfred will remember to use that theme in light mode. Same with a dark mode theme. Thank you.
  5. I think you might have misunderstood my question. I want to change modern theme to modern dark theme for Alfred on sunset, just as all other apps change theme to a dark one on sunset on my system.
  6. I don't like how in Alfred you can only either choose the modern dark or white theme. For all apps in my system, I have a light/dark sunrise/sunset schedule. After going through all automations within Alfred as well as system tasks, I could not find a way to achieve the same for Alfred 5. Is this possible?
  7. This has helped a lot! I dug around some more and configured many settings with some trial and error. For further help, are you able to send me some links/articles about improving Alfred's search scope if you have that? (Guides on getting more advanced, for instance) I'll dig around on my own. Thanks again!
  8. There's a known issue in Ventura where the System Settings panes are not working as expected with Alfred, and this is what the System Settings workflow solves: https://al fred.app/workflows/alfredapp/system-settings/ However, the original icons still show up in the search and are often preceded by the System Settings workflows options despite of months of use of the workflow's search. To fix this, I tried to exclude the supposed folder where they are found from Spotlight search in `System Settings > Spotlight search categories > Spotlight Privacy`. However, this did not work. Is there some way to fix this bug by excluding the system settings option from Alfred's search scope? Thanks,
  9. Okay! Here are my current settings:
  10. Hey, fellow human beings! I require some assistance in regard to making my butler's search scope more relevant. When I search for anything, I receive many irrelevant searches: https://share.cleanshot.com/q7d5l6F1. I mostly search for apps and files. I know you can use the `~` to search the root folder. I know you can find, open, and use `'` to search for files. So I don't need to see all those irrelevant files and other stuff that lives in my library and other places. I think a good way would be to hide those potentially irrelevant search results unless a special symbol is used for a "deep search" inside of my system. Or some configuration within the Alfred settings? But I'm not sure what settings could be changed in order to achieve my desired result. I would appreciate some assistance and resources so I could "help myself" in this regard. Also, I re-indexed Spotlight multiple times over the months (which was the thing recommended to me to do), but it never worked. It was done, but the results were still pretty irrelevant.
  11. Hey @vitor. as you suggested, I downloaded python2, but it still does not work, and I've used the debugger which produced the following error message:
  12. Hello, I've been experiencing a recurring issue with many workflows, which I believe may involve getting data from the web in some way, but I could be mistaken. I'm not sure why this is happening, but I'm unable to use many of the workflows. Here's a visual representation of what happens: https://share.cleanshot.com/b5mrgsY9 Whenever I try to use these workflows, the querying process stops and is ignored, making them unusable for me. This issue has occurred with multiple workflows in the past, and while they may work for others, they do not work for me. I have tried uninstalling them, but it hasn't solved the issue. I've noticed that this problem tends to occur with workflows that have bash scripts. I have checked to make sure that bash is installed on my computer, but I'm still unable to resolve the problem. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas to help resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your help.
  13. Hello. I have issues with my files after using migration assistant, and there's an article about this and I've came back to it a couple of times already but the first option there is simply.. not present on my OS. I could never find it, or any such similar thing despite countless tries, I'm pretty sure something changed, which the article did not update. https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/indexing/monterey/
  14. Yeah, I suppose there is no easy way to do this, I'll pass up, if anyone ever did this, let me know!
  15. Hey @Stephen_C, This is the same article that did not help me. That's why I posted this forum post. I'm convinced something more advanced is required with browser manipulation to make it work.
  16. I could not find any workflows for that. Some apps provide a custom URL to search them; perhaps Tor does also? Or, DuckDuckGo supports .onion links, even in regular browsers (I think), so is there a way to choose the DuckDuckGo search engine for my Alfred query?
  17. I'd like to change the order in which the search options are in. I always use Google first and it's inconvenient that the search I rarely use stays on the top for days. The Obsidian search is from a workflow https://github.com/hauselin/obsidian-alfred
  18. No outputs. Issue with my search scope then?
  19. The debugger doesn't show any bug. The command simply could not be run. (I recreated the issue just now).
  20. Hey! I'm testing it right now. chs works properly now, so Python3 should be working as intended. chc does not work: https://imgur.com/a/O0QoNQt I have the correct URL handler though: x-cardhop://show?id={uid} in Contacts/Advanced.
  21. I am having trouble using this workflow. chc does not work, and for all other functions I get this popup: (I could not find a git repo for this workflow) Any help? I'd love to get this workflow to work..
  22. Thanks, that was the incentive for me to finally buy the powerpack!
  23. When I look up "Passwords" it open the "Appearance" section. The passwords also do not have an icon in Alfred.
  24. I had an issue after migrating my Mac with Monterey 12.6. I followed the instructions [here](https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/indexing/) and [here](https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/indexing/#spotlightsettings). Now, Alfred is acting like this: (The file was too large to upload) https://imgur.com/a/Nl0tFPQ The file I was searching for was a folder named 10-19 Personal and was 20th search result or so. My current settings are shown in Screenshot 2022-10-12 at 23.18.40 is that helps.
