    One thing I used all the time with Spotlight was the ability to start a math equation, move to a different app (which closes Spotlight), get further number and open Spotlight and finish my equation. When I try this with Alfred, it erases the equation and I have to start over. Is there anyway to replicate this Spotlight functionality in Alfred?

    Nevermind. I just realized that as long as you don't toggle the preference to remember the location, it will do this automagically.

    With Spotlight, if you temporarily move the search window, you can long click the Spotlight icon in the menu bar and it will recenter it. Is there a way to do something similar with Alfred?
