Dear All, Just discovered Alfred 3 (longtime 2 user) - no idea why I didn't know about it? The TextExpander replacement is a big deal and I love it :-) Anyway, I try hard to figure things out for myself before asking for help and I've figured out all the dynamic date placeholder stuff from the forum posts - thank you all, but... QUESTION: How do i change the date dynamic placeholders to a previous month. I recall in Text Expander (already deleted!) that i did something like %m-1 to auto type the previous month. Can I do this in Alfred 3 - something like {date:MM-1} - grateful for help. Regards Chris PS Sorry that this is a repost - ut didn't seem to gain any traction tagged onto the end of another post.

That's very kind, David, but it would be too much pain for both of us. I don't get 'script' stuff. Alfred does everything I need at the moment. I use it to open my apps, search for stuff, and now it can enter my email address with one button press and close a web page with another. My world is complete....for now :-) Regards Chris

Hi All, Using Alfred, I would like to press one key (F13) and have it close a safari window (cmd+w). I've no idea whether this is a simple, difficult or impossible. Grateful for any help. I have the powerpack. Thanks Chris

Hi, I'm new to Alfred and it is perhaps proving too powerful for me! I got Alfred and the Powerpack just to do one thing and I have not a clue how to achieve it. I want to press a hot key and have it type text (I'm really bored with typing my email address 100 times a day). Is this possible - thanks for any help. Regards Chris
