  1. Finally! I followed the instruction to reindex spotlight (again) and now everything works as it should. Thanks for your patience, and help.
  2. No, when i use spotlight, it directs me to the app's website not to the actual app
  3. oops, sorry. I meant to do that when posting. Here's one example for DaisyDisk... Starting Diagnostics... File: 'DaisyDisk.app' Path: '/Applications' ----------------------------------------------------------- Check file cache database... ✅ File cache integrity is ok ----------------------------------------------------------- Check if file is readable... ✅ Alfred has permissions to read this file. ----------------------------------------------------------- Check if volume '/' is indexed by macOS... ✅ Indexing is enabled on this drive ----------------------------------------------------------- Check direct file metadata... ✅ Direct metadata available Display Name: DaisyDisk Other Names: Content Type: com.apple.application-bundle Last Used: 2024-03-21 20:50:23 +0000 ----------------------------------------------------------- Check mdls file metadata... ❌ macOS metadata missing essential items kMDItemFSContentChangeDate = 2024-03-21 20:50:23 +0000 kMDItemFSCreationDate = 2024-03-21 15:51:59 +0000 kMDItemFSCreatorCode = "" kMDItemFSFinderFlags = 0 kMDItemFSHasCustomIcon = 0 kMDItemFSInvisible = 0 kMDItemFSIsExtensionHidden = 0 kMDItemFSIsStationery = 0 kMDItemFSLabel = 0 kMDItemFSName = "DaisyDisk.app" kMDItemFSNodeCount = 1 kMDItemFSOwnerGroupID = 20 kMDItemFSOwnerUserID = 502 kMDItemFSSize = 1 kMDItemFSTypeCode = "" ----------------------------------------------------------- ❌ Troubleshooting failed
  4. I'm running Alfred 4.8 on M1 Max Studio Mac with 68 GB RAM and Sonoma 14.6.1. When I invoke Alfred to find and launch an app, it only seems to find Apple's apps, no others. This is after rebuilding the Spotlight index, etc. as advised.
