  1. Great, thanks! It's working well. A few suggestions for improvements if you have time/possibility: Add "paste" as an option if e.g. ⌘ is pressed (as an alternative to copy). Add an auto-update mechanism, e.g. this:
  2. Great work, thanks! I've just done very limited testing (about 10 minutes) but I can confirm that it now works with Swedish characters (å, ä and ö), and all the functions I've tried seem to work perfectly!
  3. Agree, and it seems that many Alfred users think Packal was/is very useful and really would like it to shine again, but it seems to be difficult to solve the maintenance needed.
  4. I've been using this workflow for a couple of years. It has worked very well and it's so convenient to be able to play/pause from Alfred, thanks very much for making it! There was recently an update to focusatwill.com that broke the workflow (at least for me, I'm on macOS 10.12.6 and Alfred 3.5.1). Any chance you could upgrade the workflow to work with the new focusatwill.com? Edit: I just checked on Packal and realized that you have already updated it, now with new features! It works great, thank you very much! Maybe good to write a post here about your update, Packal is not actively maintained (unfortunately) and I don't think so many Alfred users check it regularly anymore.
  5. Thanks for explaining. A while ago I started following your advice to change keywords to start with a period to avoid other stuff to get mixed in, so I changed keywords to e.g. ".gt" to view todays events. Then it could be handy to execute results directly. But for your (new?) approach of not writing full keywords it seems more handy to select the function using tab or enter. Nevertheless, it's quite handy for me as working now anyway, thanks again.
  6. It's working perfectly for me (macOS 10.12.6, Alfred 3.5.1). One thought for improvement: currently I need to press enter after having written any of the keywords to execute the chosen function, I would prefer that the function is executed directly after the keyword is given to make it snappier - would this be possible?
  7. This is great! Very nice implementation, easy to use and most useful features! Thanks (by the way I bought you a beer, I use a lot of your workflows, thanks for all your work)!
  8. Thanks for the explanation, I now understand how it can be achieved. Not sure that I'll get around to fix this, but if I do I'll post some info about my experience here.
  9. Thanks for your input. I understand that I can copy the information in the subtitle to the title to make it work, but I feel it's a pity that this is needed since the necessary information is already provided to the List Filter, and I agree it would look ugly. It makes me think that it may be good if Alfred could allow for (optionally) searching the subtitles as well. I'm also curious, how could it be done using 'match' @vitor?
  10. Thanks for making this, it's very useful. I have a feature request, could you make it possible to also do inverse search, e.g. "kc 53" would find Escape? This could be useful when reading AppleScript with key code statements, to figure out what they do quickly.
  11. This is a longtime favorite workflow for me. I just noticed that favorite files are removed from the favorite list if they are moved to another folder using the Finder (I'm on macOS 10.12.6 and using Alfred version 3.5). Is this expected behavior? I realize that it may be difficult to keep track of files if they are moved, but maybe it's worth mentioning in the workflow description that favorites may be lost due to being moved. Or if there is an easy fix it would be great if the workflow would keep track on them even when moved.
  12. Thanks for making this very useful workflow! Version 1.2 is a nice improvement, it's much nicer to use now with increased speed.
  13. Thanks for pointing out that workflow, I had missed it, I'll give it a try.
  14. I've been using this workflow so much, it's very helpful to organize files, thank you for making it. I wonder, now that (since a while) macOS has support for the more powerful feature Tags (which also will be supported by iOS if I understood correctly) - would it be possible to further develop this workflow to be able to assign tags? I realize that it is probably more complex... I would try to build such a workflow myself but my programming skills are not so good. For me, and hopefully for others, it would be very useful since I don't know of any other really convenient way to assign tags (especially since I mainly use Path Finder instead of Finder).
  15. This seems very useful, but I can't get it to work. I am able to use the PinPlus.app GUI to add a bookmark to my Pinboard account. But when using the 'pa', 'pin, 'pun' and ':pinplusforceupdate' keywords in Alfred nothing happens. I was prompted once for the Pinboard token and haven't been prompted again. I'm on macOS 10.12.6, Alfred 3.4.1 and use version 1.1.1 of the PinPlus workflow. Below I paste the debugging info after running "pin". Any ideas? 16. That explains it, thanks for the clarification. I came to think of one security-related question - the workflow currently copies the password to the Alfred Clipboard where it can be available for quite some time depending on the settings - would it be possible to copy it in a more secure (transient) way similar to 1Password? I usually remember to delete it manually once I've used it, but I tend to not always remember.
  17. Thanks that fixed it! I have actually used Fixum before so I thought that this was complete (and I have not been bothered by high CPU usage from Python workflows lately), nevertheless Fixum now updated 52 workflows and the issue seems to be solved.
  18. I noticed that there is an update to the workflow. However, when trying to update with the built-in workflow update option it seems to get stuck (the attached image is just showed indefinitely) and the update is not downloaded/installed. I'm using Alfred 3.3.2 on macOS 10.12.5. Pasting the last part of the debug report: 12:25:36 update.py:281 DEBUG Release `v1.0` : https://github.com/deanishe/alfred-pwgen/releases/download/v1.0/Password_Generator-1.0.alfredworkflow 12:25:36 update.py:352 INFO 11 releases for deanishe/alfred-pwgen 12:25:36 update.py:363 DEBUG Latest : Version('2.1.1') Installed : Version('2.1.0') 12:25:36 workflow.py:1894 DEBUG Cached data saved at : /Users/candstef/Library/Caches/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-3/Workflow Data/net.deanishe.alfred-pwgen/__workflow_update_status.cpickle 12:25:36 workflow.py:2541 DEBUG Downloading update ... 12:25:36 background.py:178 DEBUG Command arguments cached to `/Users/candstef/Library/Caches/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-3/Workflow Data/net.deanishe.alfred-pwgen/__workflow_update_install.argcache` 12:25:36 background.py:182 DEBUG Calling [u'/usr/bin/python', '/Users/candstef/Library/Application Support/Alfred 3/Alfred.alfredpreferences/workflows/user.workflow.B49B1006-ED08-4990-84A3-E00E44968CBF/workflow/background.pyc', u'__workflow_update_install'] ... 12:25:36 workflow.py:2221 DEBUG Workflow version : 2.1.0 12:25:36 background.py:187 DEBUG Executing task `__workflow_update_install` in background... 12:25:36 workflow.py:1384 DEBUG Downloading and installing update ... 12:25:36 workflow.py:2263 DEBUG Workflow finished in 0.625 seconds.
  19. Great, thanks for solving the issue with not finding all menu items (example with BibDesk)!
  20. I also experienced one case where not all menu items were found, using the app BibDesk. The old menu bar search workflow, as part of the workflow "Key Clue" finds some menu items that are not shown by this new workflow (showing "No menu items"), e.g. the items that are subcommands to the "Copy As" item. Sorry but I did not have time to go through steps B-D outlined above (I have the latest version so step E is done) now, but wanted to quickly inform you about this.
  21. This is great, thank you! I think the menu search workflow is one of the most powerful workflows. On my system (macOS 10.12.4, Alfred 3.3.2) your new implementation is quite much faster, and adding the power of fuzzy search makes it even more useful.
  22. Thank you @vitor for the update! It works well with Path Finder now.
