  1. Please, try this new version that moves the setup steps into Alfred instead of OSX dialog boxes: Download Version 3.1 Type the keyword newf Select Setup In Step 1-3 just hit return Now start typing a folder name (the one to use with the workflow) Select it and hit return key In Step 2-3 you can change the default text extension .txt to the one you want to use like for example .md In Step 3-3 you can change the default Journal name If you did something wrong (wrong folder or extension for example) just type the keyword setup_nft
  2. It’s working here. Please, delete the workflow, go to the initial post and download the workflow from there then install it again. You should see an OSX select folder dialog initially. For your information, I’m testing the workflow in the latest Alfred 2 pre-release build.
  3. I think there is. However, the regular expression in this workflow is set to group and not find and replace. Anyway, I’ll see if I can add something to remove diacriticals and white space to make the filename web safe. Thank you for your feedback!
  4. It’s time to update this workflow… Copy added to my to do list. Thank you for your feedback!
  5. Thank you Alex. Did you update Alleyoop manually (you have to) today/yesterday? It seems to be working fine here with the latest Alleyoop update.
  6. I’m not sure if b184 did the same but typing double quotes will break the script even if the language is “/usr/bin/osascript”. You can reproduce the double quote not escaping issue in the test workflow I posted initially. Backslash is working fine.
  7. I made 5 tests and all went fine but I’ll play with it more to see if I find something wrong. Please try the following: - Update Alfred 2 with the current pre-release - Restart Evernote - Restart Alfred in case you don’t want to update it - Download and install the workflow again
  8. OK! It seems that right now it’s not possible but it would be nice to be able to remove tags and tickle and even an email from a project. Maybe Scott could do something in the future.
  9. Version 5.0 is out: Save the new note in an existing notebook or in a new one e.g. MyNote#MyTags#Notebook Append text to an existing note Automatically synchronize Evernote after a note is created or changed Added ensync keyword to make Evernote synchronize Added enHelp keyword See initial post for details! PS: thank you Natasha for your kind words.
  10. I’ve just downloaded the last version: - I have changed to taskpaper format but my yaml file was not converted - The Format Script Filter keyword was missing (maybe a bug in current Alfred pre-release?) - I exported to the clipboard (yaml), changed to taskpaper, imported but nothing happened I had to enter my items again to get the new format.
  11. Version 2.1 is out: fixed Tickle bug (thanks to Scott)
  12. News about the workflow The next update will require the latest version of Alfred that is still in pre-release (2.0.3) due the new backslash escaping feature (right now typing a single backslash will bring Alfred fallback search). Favorites are ready file type icon will be displayed to help identify what you are renaming the workflow will not require an extension but it will let you know that is missing or a different one was set improved quick look: you can access quick look as soon as you start the workflow so you can easily check the files to be renamed; in addition, warnings are also displayed in red In resume, update Alfred if you’d like to get the new version of the workflow that should be ready in one or two days.
  13. Thanks! Nice catch, thank you. It’s fixed. I’ll test a bit more and post an update ASAP. Regarding the projects order: it’s possible of course but Alfred will place used items at the start of the list later (breaking the order) unless the workflow blocks this Alfred feature for good. I’m not sure if most users would like to see this Alfred feature removed. Let’s vote?
  14. I made some tests and now Language “/usr/bin/osascript” works as expected! Thank you!
  15. Great to hear. Right now, when you set up the workflow, you can set a filename (default is Journal) and save text to it instead of create a new file. To add text to this file you can set up a hotkey (the second one, named “Add text to Journal) or use the keyword newf and hold fn key.
  16. The choice of the text delimiter is always tricky. For simplicity, I’m using another hash because if the note is an email then I don’t have to worry about what the @ means later, when parsing the string. Anyway, I’ll consider an alternative.
  17. History in Safari may slow down indeed. Maybe the workflow could display results in steps, like 20 results. In addition, if I type something and get 100 items it will hard to browse all those items in Alfred anyway.
  18. Done. Version 1.6 is out Cursor at the end of new pasted textSee initial post for details.
  19. Great to hear and thank you for your feedback and patience. I’m already testing it: title or note#tags#notebook In resume, after the second # you can specify an existing notebook or a new one that the workflow will create. Thank you for your feedback.
