  1. This has happened with a few Alfred Workflow, including my favorites, Appscripts, Menu items, Window Switcher etc.  Upon upgrading my new MacBook Pro and syncing Alfred with my old Mac via shared Alfred preference file in Dropbox , the old Mac continued running workflows just fine.  I solved the new problem simply by re-downloading this and other workflows.  So, it works fine right now.  This seems to be a larger question about the sync function.  For instance my new Mac, when searching brings up every possible item/element of all my Alfred workflows (Preference file in Dropbox) including every single (.jason, .py, , png etc.) where as my other computer does not.  I realize this does not relate to your workflow but there is clearly a dropbox sync issue, that lead me to believe mistakenly it was your workflow.  Sorry about that.

  2. I did everything you said and more.  Check out the screenshots.  Copying the png file and renaming it on desktop does not yield a search hit.  However, as I said before I can find the PNG file using my own filter and I can find the screenshot if I convert it to PDF.  Also, as you can see spotlight can find any of them.

  3. I have been using Alfred for 2 years and this is the first time Alfred is not finding items that Spotlight does; in this case it is just a screenshot on my desktop.  I moved it to another location in my "home" folder, which are all within Alfred's "scope of search" and still nothing.  I converted the PNG screenshot on my desktop to PDF and Alfred found it.

I also created a workflow year ago to search only for PNG files and this does work.  But the general file search (space bar) does not find the PNG screenshot.

    Any thoughts?

  4. Is there any way to use 2 versions of your script to access two separate folder locations so that the dropdown is split.  Basically I'd love to be able to split my 20+ iTunes scripts into 10 a piece as they are primarily either "maintenance" or "navigation" oriented.  I downloaded 2 versions of workflow, but when I changed the path of the folders in the second one it overwrote the first one.  I thought that was going to happen.

  5. There's many great iTunes workflows but I've yet to find one that search comments field.

Due to ever expanding music styles and sub-genres I've resorted to adding my own tags to the Comments field.  I usually add single words for moods or sub-genres and for the bigger/general descriptors I'll add an x to the end, like bluesx or dubx which gives me accurate search results with very few false positives.  How can I do this?

  6. Great workflow.  It does just about everything I need save search in comments field.  Due to ever expanding music styles and sub-genres I've resorted to adding my own tags to Comments field.  I keep them to a reasonable number...say average about 10 keywords per track and usually I add an "x" to the end of it.  So, emox and dirtysouthx gives me accurate search results for these subgenres quickly, with very few false positives.   I still use genre and grouping but this is not enough.  And too many playlists gets to cumber some.  Anyway, could you add a comments search to this already great workflow.

    thanks

  7. It works great.  It didn't require me to put in signature key or secret.  In the old one "| dex" keyword initiated the setup.  It doesn't exist in the version.  so I just put my Discog API key and signature inside your script workflow.  It works so far.

I'm currently using another Last FM workflow on Alfred that works fine so yours should be workable as well.

    Thanks
