See setting up syncing on your second Mac. You don’t need Dropbox, you just have to ensure your Alfred.alfredpreferences file is available locally; it can be stored anywhere on your Mac. You can reset the sync location (or leave it unchanged, if you haven’t set it up on your second machine) and place Alfred.alfredpreferences in ~/Library/Application Support/Alfred/.

I installed the workflow and the extension on my MacOS 13.0.1 MacBook Air, allowed the installation in Mac's security, and tried the troubleshooting stuff including ffass register workflow with browser, but the extension never connects. I've attached a screenshot of the extension debugger. Can I get some troubleshooting suggestions?

There are still many users (like myself) on Intel Macs, and an app like Alfred should absolutely not waste resources.

1Password has multiple shortcuts. Go check its preferences and make sure you don’t have ⌥⌘\ assigned there, too. On my machine, that’s the hotkey for 1Password mini.

Also, apps can't override each others' hotkeys. If two apps register the same hotkey, it's up to macOS what happens.

This should cause Dash to stop modifying the workflow:
    1. Quit Dash
    2. Right click the workflow in Alfred and choose "Edit Details" and set the Bundle Id to anything other than "com.kapeli.dash.workflow"
    3. Modify the workflow and delete the extra keywords you don't want
    4. Relaunch Dash

dserodio got a reaction from deanishe in Use action icon instead of result icon for modifier keys
When using the modifier keys (like Ctrl for Search with the default web search, Alt for Search with Spotlight and Cmd for Reveal in Finder (if local)), the icon shown on Alfred should reflect the action that will be activated, like the default web search icon, the Spotlight icon and the Finder icon in the example I gave instead of the icon representing the result itself.
