I'm on OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 (15F34). Every time I open up Alfred 3's preference pane, it activates my discreet GPU. This isn't desirable while on battery - is there a reason for Alfred to do this?

It seems to be faster using this option... Anything else you want me to try?

Bringing up the window using the keyboard shortcut and typing to find an app. The app will show the first letter being typed, then pause and seem to freeze, then suddenly catch up. Disabling Contact Search seems to fix the issue.
