  1. David Ferguson helped me with this: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/382-switch-back-to-please-wait-subtext-if-script-is-executed-again/
  2. Looks good, and I love the name! I'm happy to have inspired such art
  3. I think I what you're looking for is in the 'Advanced' tab. Under 'Applications:' there is a 'Matching' option. If you set it to "Full fuzzy match from word boundary", it should do what you want
  4. Makes sense to me. Anything that slows down development is bad as far as I'm concerned Keep up the incredible work and rapid updates!
  5. This would be difficult, considering the smallness of the development team. Maintaining separate localizations would be time-consuming.
  6. I agree; when I use Wolfram|Alpha's API in a workflow, it is slower than Alfred, so as I type "steve jobs" I get results for "s (character)", then "ste" gets processed, then I finally get "Steve Jobs". The first time I saw this, I wondered if it was my fault or my slow internet.
  7. If launching a specific group of files in batch is your only goal, Alfred has an workflow action for that. If you attach it to a keyword—for example, "talk"—you could even type less while achieving the same result. I can see how you would miss that comma feature, though. It's probably faster in certain instances.
  8. This is a really recent feature, added to beta 78. See this post for details: http://www.alfredforum.com/index.php?/topic/289-cheeky-little-transparency-blur-hack-in-b78-now-available/
  9. Awesome! Glad you like it The blur is a nice touch, too. Thanks for adding it
  10. I second that! Alfred's developers set the bar VERY high; I can't stand half-baked software from other developers since I started using Alfred
  11. I would love it if Alfred updated results as they echoed! I sometimes can't tell if my script is dysfunctional or just taking a while to download content. If I could echo something like "Loading results...Please wait", I would know a little better.
  12. If I am not mistaken, this is possible in PHP and bash, two scripting environments supported by Alfred. David Ferguson's Weather workflow uses conditional switches to determine which icon to display; it is written in PHP.
  13. I love this extension! I do have one issue to report: the icons are a little hard to see on a dark theme: http://cl.ly/image/06312X0P3O0i
  14. Awesome extensions! I had been working on a Fast User Switching workflow myself, but yours is way better. I did notice, however, that your <valid>yes</valid> node should be an attribute, like this: valid="yes" http://www.alfredforum.com/index.php?/topic/5-generating-feedback-in-workflows/
  15. I have the same problem, and it affects any notification Alfred sends to Notification Center. As far as I can tell, Alfred's .icns file does not have multiple sizes inside it, so NC is scaling it manually (thus the ugliness).
  16. I also like the idea of right/left arrow history access, with some interface to see your history. When I heard about this feature, I imagined something like a results panel except upside down and with 1 history entry per box; I now imagine the same thing, only jutting off of Alfred's left side. Since a query from the history is highlighted, the right arrow would logically remove the history interface without actioning the first item. Just thinking out loud .
  17. Get it from Packal: Dark • Light Description: Made to match OS X's aethetic. Monochromatic with a blue accent. Attractive and very usable. Dark preview: Light preview:
