  1. Hi @Vero, if Alfred ever has a fix for saving Preferences in Dropbox Business accounts, that would be great. So far, I've been able to replicate this issue without fail. Whenever I save Alfred Preferences in Dropbox Business, on restart Alfred can't find the Preferences and my hotkey resets. I'm not sure if it has to do with the additional folder that Dropbox adds in Dropbox Business (i.e. "Dropbox/[Business Name]/[Folder Tree]) between the parent folder and all of one's personal folders and files, or if it's something specific to my Alfred installation that somehow got corrupted. All my Dropbox files and folders are saved offline. In short, I can't figure out what would create this behavior. Nevertheless, it's working saving Preferences in iCloud for now. Thanks so much for your help! Scott
  2. Hi @Stephen_C. Thanks so much for the fast reply. Yes, the Preferences were off-line (and my Dropbox preferences are set to save all new files saved to disk as well as to the cloud). Currently, the preferences work when saved directly to disk outside of Dropbox and when saved to iCloud (in my Documents folder), but saved to disk inside Dropbox no longer works. I'm thinking the problem happened not with the Alfred update but when I upgraded to Dropbox Business. Not sure how or why. But I'll keep them in iCloud Documents for now. Thanks so much!
  3. Hi @Stephen_C and @Vero. Thanks for your replies. Yes, I'm running Ventura 13.5. I believe the issue is with how Alfred and Dropbox are speaking. When I move preferences out of Dropbox, Alfred remembers my hotkey after reboot. When I re-set the preferences folder to inside Dropbox, Alfred does not remember the hotkey. Any idea why that would be? I also recently upgraded to Dropbox Business, so the folder path is slightly different, but I re-set the preferences folder path (in Alfred's preferences) to the updated location; nevertheless, the preferences don't stick after reboot. Thanks for any thoughts you have!
  4. Hello. In Alfred 5.1.2, my hotkey is now resetting back to Option+Spacebar from Cmd+Spacebar every time I restart my laptop. There is no conflict with Cmd+Spacebar (the option for using this hotkey with Spotlight is unchecked in Settings). This just started happening with 5.1.2, and deleting application cache, etc. with Onyx doesn't fix the issue. Any way to fix? Thanks.
  5. How might I exclude an app from search results that isn't accessible via Spotlight Privacy window? I want to exclude Google Drive's FinderHelper.app because that always appears above macOS' Finder in the search results. It's file path is: Applications/Google Drive.app/Contents/Applications/FinderHelper.app Thanks so much.
  6. Hello. I recently upgraded from an Intel MacBook to a Silicon one and re-built my system from a clean HD. When I installed Alfred 5 again, I attempted to sync my preferences to the Dropbox > Apps > Alfred folder that I've used in the past, but the entire Dropbox > Apps folder is grayed out when I select "Set preferences folder..." Other Dropbox folders are not grayed out, and the Apps folder is not grayed out in any other application or in the Finder. All Alfred's requested permissions have been enabled. Does anyone know what's happening and how to fix? Thanks.
  7. Hi deanishe. Thanks so much for the reply and suggestion. I have a question about how to do this: Which workflow in Workflows am I building this from? I've tried a few—Dynamic File Search, File Filter, etc.—but none appear to present the options you mention. If you can suggest any steps, that'd be really helpful. Thank you so much for your expertise and time.
  8. I use a great program called Keep It that tags and stores all my documents in iCloud. The exact place is ~/Library/Group Containers. I'm no expert in Alfred, but I have Alfred's file search set to include Documents, but it's not finding any of my 3,000 documents in that folder using the "Open..." command. Anyone know what I need to do to have it search there for documents? Thank you!
  9. Hello, Since installing the latest build, some of the keyboard shortcuts I use to launch applications in Alfred no longer work, and I don't know how to get them to work again. Any help would be appreciated. For example, I used to press "m" to bring up Mail, and then launch it. Mail always appeared at the top of the list. Now, no matter how many times I navigate to Mail and launch it from the Alfred window, pressing "m" repeatedly brings up App Store at the top of the list. I'm not sure why. Every other item begins with an "m" but this one. Any ideas how to get it back to the way it was? Thanks so much, S
