Hi there, I'm a very satisfied Alfred customer for years. I recently did a fresh installation of High Sierra including Alfred 3. On this new machine I've run into the following problem: When I use Alfred to start/activate another app and the same app was already the active app, the app does not get the keyboard "focus". By "focus" I mean the following: I cannot use any keyboard commands from the app. E.g. the cursor keys do nothing in Safari, CMD-W does not close the window and so on. This only happens if the app was active when invoking Alfred. I another app was active and the new app comes into foreground everything works fine. Strangely the menu changes to the app and in Mission Control and the window switcher the app is the active one as well. Any help appreciated.

Not to mention, that the tab-key is doing nothing in that state.

Hi there, while on a folder result: have you thought about giving the tab key a similar feeling as in Bash or even "Finde"->"Go to Folder..."? Right now the tab key only completes the current matching result. Further tab presses do nothing. A would greatly appreciate, if the tab key would then switch to the Alfred file browser. Currently, I have to press the "cursor right" key, and it is awful to reach (especially on the new MacBook Pro keyboard). Kind regards, Klaas.

Hi David, thanks for your help! The problem for issue ( b ) is that the relevant results are not listed, when I only type two letters. The only appear after typing the fourth letter ;-( I'm a programmer myself. Are they any configuration/database/settings files that I can dig into to modify the ranking?

Hi! I've got two questions regarding the ranking of the search results: ( a ) Alfred learned that I searched for a term many times during the last few weeks. This makes the result appear at the top of the search results. Now the result is not relevant to me anymore. How can I teach Alfred to forget what he learned? ( b ) I've got some search results that I want to be ranked higher as soon as I type e.g. the first two letters. My problem is that I chose them many times but they only appear when I type the first four letters. Best regards, Alfred is awesome! Klaas.
