So we recently migrated several servers into AWS and now I need to type a FQDN every time I connect. I thought no problem, Alfred snippet to the rescue. Unfortunately it isn't working as expected.
In this forum if I type the server123 and my keyword (,,aws)... with no space it expands as expected (such as server123,,aws). If I am using outlook, terminal or iterm I must include a space between the servername and my keyword (such as server123 ,,aws). That kinda defeats the purpose. So I have a few questions.
Is this a bug?
Is this repeatable for everyone else?
is this expected?
Should it work without a space?
is there a way to include a backspace command into a snippet (as a work around)?
Hopefully this explanation and query is clear enough for someone to respond.
