Hi everyone, I couldn't find any post talking about this anywhere in the forum, please forgive me if this is not the case 🙇 I copy/paste lots of colours and I almost entirely rely on the Alfred's clipboard to store them. I LOVE the built-in hex colour preview. HOWEVER the clipboard fails to show a visual preview of the colour whenever the "#" is missing in the colour code (please see screenshots attached to show what i mean. I was wondering if there's a way to tweak this in the preferences? So that Alfred attempts to preview any bit of text containing 6 digits? I know there are many workflows to convert colour from one format to another - some of which are awesome btw - but I was hoping to tweak the clipboard settings rather than add an unnecessary step to my M.O. 😉 Thank you, Max

Has anybody created a workflow that can change the color of text to a specific color within the Evernote app? At the moment, Evernote only allows you to show and hide the Color Picker with a shortcut (C-Command-Shift for both hiding and showing). However, it doesn't even make the Color Picker window/pane active, so it's not entirely clear to me how to script something that would could pick a color and close the Color Picker. I'm a scripting newbie, but I find it really annoying to constantly have to fidget with the mouse to get this repetitive task done. In fact, several other people have complained about the issue on Evernote's message boards. Like most people that use Evernote, I commonly highlight text in articles and change its color when I want to draw my attention to something or take a note, etc. However, the app only has a menu item shortcut for highlighting text, and it does not include anything to help people change the text's color without clicking around with their mouse. For example, I'd love to just assign a shortcut in Alfred that changes the text's color to red. Within Evernote's Color Picker-restricted system, it would need to do something like the following: After text has been manually highlighted by the user (i.e., not highlighting, as in its format, but just selected with the cursor), use an Alfred workflow to assign a keyword or a shortcut to: Open the Color Picker (C-Command-Shift) Make the Color Picker window active Select the Color Palette option - which is the 3rd one from the top on Macs without anything else installed Click the "Apple" palette - which is the default option that should already be selected Click the boring old Red color towards the bottom, and Close the Color Picker (C-Command-Shift) Of course, I'm completely open to suggestions for a solution outside of Evernote, too - i.e., one that happens out of plain sight and does not depend on clunkily opening and closing the Color Picker. Greetings Alfredians, Can an Alfred theme support the display of the presented found items with their "Finder color" or and an indicator of their color? if yes, Would anyone know of an existing Alfred theme that displaying supports Finder label /colors? or Could someone share with me know how to implement this feature in a new or existing theme? Hey, guys. I implemented a alfred workflow. You can do syntax highlighting code in clipboard using alfred-hl. Usage 1. Copy code snippet to clipboard (Cmd + C) 2. Highlight code - Type hl, space, find the language you want - Enter - Cmd + V to the rich text editor like Pages, Keynote Dependency - NodeJS 4+ - Install: brew install node Please read this document for detail and download

I simply adjusted those details Steve Jobs would have spent months to perfect and ended up with something I liked. The design for subtext on alternative results is ignored as my settings only show for primary, it makes a lot cleaner UI. Enjoy ps. This one may be ideal for retina displays!

Recently started using some new applications and the triggers I'd set up in Quicksilver are no longer working with those applications (BusyCal 2.6.3, for example). My understanding is that Quicksilver has become somewhat out-of-date, so I'm trying Afred so see if it will work better. I'm looking for a way to paste specific color data over text (in TextEdit, Yojimbo, or OmniGraffle, for example). In Quicksilver, I used the shelf to store the color data, then set up triggers with a different hotkey for each specific color: red, green, blue, etc. (Red was "Shift-Option-Command-R", for example, and blue was "Control-B".) The shelf was a key step, because I couldn't figure out any other way to isolate the color data and put it into the command field. I'm a teacher, and being able to paste colors over highlighted text quickly helps me when editing and giving feedback on others' writing (essays and articles, for example) or when composing my own lesson plans. (Red means "cut this text", blue means "rethink this part", green means "I went ahead and fixed this for you"). My question is: how do you set up a hotkey that will change the color of highlighted text to a specific color?

I coudn't find a color picker workflow so I converted an old alfred1 extention to an alfred2 workflow. I probably downloaded the extention from here: http://jdfwarrior.tumblr.com/post/11143489252/color-chooser the keyword is "color picker". It shows the OSX default color chooser and saves the selected color hex value in the clipboard. Download the workflow here: Color Picker

As a coder I often use Alfred's wonderful large type key command to quickly display snippets of code to colleagues without all the other distractions on my screen. If alfred provided built-in syntax it would make this much nicer. If built-in is too heavy, I'd be happy to do the syntax highlighting myself, but alfred still needs to provide a method of colorizing Large Type output through a workflow. ASCII escape sequences are one option, but I'm sure our friends at HQ can think of a better solution.
