  1. any chance to get the fuzzy search working in Alfred for the integrated 1Password feature? i try to do everything through Alfred, but the 1Password search is quite painful currently. i could spin up a workflow but probably it'd be better in the integrated version?
  2. I think there're two aspects where Alfred can improve: 1. Allow user to search for content in the files in a specific folder (i.e. before using 'in' function, user can assign a specific folder as the search scope) 2. Allow user to specify the file type for search. For example, search pdf only in a specific folder. I understand that these functions can be implemented by making workflows, but it's hard for non technical person like me to create one. I wish that these would be built-in function or in the sample workflows.
  3. Perform a Google Image search based on files on your computer. The images are uploaded to Google, and the list of search results is shown in your browser. Download Get the workflow from GitHub or Packal. Usage Google search supports PNG, JPG, GIF and BMP images only. This workflow is available as a File Action for any of these filetypes in Alfred. There is also a Hotkey to search based on the current Finder selection. If more than one image file is selected, only the first will be used. Licence This workflow is released under the MIT License.

  7. Hi there, at work we have a folders structure that goes something light that: - PROJECT NAME - PROJECT NAME CITY NAME1 - PROJECT NAME CITY NAME2 - PROJECT NAME CITY NAME3 - PROJECT NAME CITY NAME4 - Etc. And file names work the same way. That means we have many folders and files starting with the same name. When I use Alfred to search for a folder or file and it doesn't appear in the results and it doesn't appear in the 40 results displayed, how do I push Alfred to find it and make it appear in future searches?
  8. Hi, Alfred sets a limit of 40 items returned in the search results. Is there a way i can increase this number OR preferably, "page down" to the next set of results? Thank you very much! Steve

  10. What does it do? YouVersion Suggest is a workflow which allows you to search across the YouVersion Bible for any verse, chapter, or book (in any version). Why do I want it? I created YouVersion Suggest because I wanted to great simplify the effort required to look up any Bible reference (be it a verse or chapter or book in a particular version). As a believer in Christ, I think that quick and easy access to Scripture is important, and so that's exactly what I've tried to do. How does it work? Type the yv keyword in Alfred, followed by a space and a phrase representing

  13. Hi, I'm very frustrated by Alfred not finding the files I'm search for. HoudahSpot & Tembo are amazing, and even the built-in Spotlight does much better. I have rebuilt MacOs Metadata, etc., but Alfred isn't competing. If it cannot be improved, is it possible to use HoudahSpot or Tembo with an Alfred workflow? Thanks Yossi
  14. I'm trying to create a workflow that searches only for Premiere CC project files on my machine (or mounted network drives,) but filtering out any Premiere CC project files that are contained within any folders with the word "Auto-Save" in the title. Is something like that possible? I can create a search like that in Finder, I'm just not sure how to do it in an Alfred workflow. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
  15. Hi ! I've looked through the forum and there's a lot about displaying contacts, but unfortunately I'm not sure it answers my question: I would like to search only in contacts but in any field of contact cards. I specify in all my contacts their skills (I work with a lot of Freelancers). Currently I use Alfred2 with contact and it works if I type 3 letters of a first or last name, but not if I type 'Motion' to find a motion designer whose name I can't recall. Can you help me, please
  16. Alfred 2 making that IMDB web search a little boring? How about a shiny new workflow for IMDB search suggestions? It leverages IMDB's own suggest protocol to deliver snappy results right into Alfred. (Really, it's fast. They're using static JSON files on a CDN.) Selecting a result will take you directly to the page for the film or name you're looking for, or if there are no suggestions, you can jump to a plain IMDB search page instead. Download GitHub Repo

  19. Thank you guys! With the great Alfred 3, I can open webpage, mailbox, search internet and do translate work in a smooth and quick way. Here is one function I would like to request - I only use Easyfind to search files on my mac. It would be very helpful if I type some words in Alfred and then showed a shortcut in fallback results which reads "Search on Easyfind". When clicked, it will run Easyfind and do search the search work. Sorry that I know only little about Workflow, but is there any possibility that it could be done with Alfred?

  23. Long time power pack owner. Can't believe I'm just now running into this... When I type in a query that isn't found locally, Alfred automatically searches Google. I've decided to stop using Google in favor of DuckDuckGo. How can I change the default so that I don't have to type "duck" every time I search the web?
  24. Is it possible to create a file filter that operates as if each word in a query has a wildcard in front of it? For example, let's say I have a file filter set up as follows: (1) Keyword is "pdf", (2) File Types set to PDFs, and (3) Search Scope set to ~/Documents/SmallFolder. 25. I bought Alfred 3 powerback. I have 1250 snippets that used to run on Windows software called ShortKeys. I exported my snippets as text file (only option). i could not bring to Alfred 3. There is no way to import them to Alfred 3 from text file. I will put all of them in one snippet as text. I will just search a keyword when i need info about something. However, there is no option to search within snippet. We really want the ability to search inside snippet for keywords. In my case, i have 6k lines notes in text. I will create a snippet and paste those notes. Then, when i need something, i wi
