I have a standard set of applications I access through Alfred all the time. My standard flow is to activate Alfred, type one or two (sometimes three) letters and then hit return to launch the app. Alfred has learned what apps I want to launch for these character sequences. However, Alfred has forgotten that some of these applications even exist unless I type more letters. For example, I launch SourceTree with `st` but now Alfred doesn't even show it as available in the results list unless I add `r` (`str`). It shows just fine if I type `tr`, too. How do I jog Alfred's memory to get these associations back? Clearing the Application Cache doesn't help and I'd rather not rebuild macOS metadata. Thanks!

Greetings Alfred Community, First, thank you to Andrew and Vero for building and maintaining such a brilliant tool. Alfred is unfailingly the first app I load onto any new personal computer. I've been experiencing a small but persistent issue for a few months now: InDesign (.indd) files do not show up in search results. A few details to contextualize the issue: InDesign the *app* shows up — it is only .indd files that do not appear. All other Adobe filetypes and applications (Illustrator, .ai files, etc.) show up in default results. Other filetypes (PDF, EPS, etc.) in the same folder as an .indd file show up — just not the .indd file itself. Things I've tried: Updating to the latest versions of Alfred and Adobe. Clearing the Application Cache. Reconfiguring default results to locate .indd files. What I'm trying to accomplish: Resolve the invisibility of .indd files so I can call them up in Alfred's search bar just like any other file. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. Selecting the option to include AppleScripts in Alfred's Default Results does not work as you would expect it to because scripts saved in the standard locations (~/Library/Scripts and ~/Library/Application Scripts) are marked as system files and thus won't be shown in Alfred's default results under any circumstances. That is to say, if you do the most reasonable/logical thing and save your scripts in the standard folders (where other applications, like Mail.app or FastScripts, expect to find them), add the folders to Alfred's Search Scope, and then check the AppleScripts option, nothing happens… I believe the current situation (with AppleScripts being one of the default options under Extras) strongly implies that the above would work. Certainly, this has come up repeatedly on the forum, @rounak being the latest to run into it. My suggestion would be to remove AppleScripts from the Extras section or replace it with a separate, "smart" Application Scripts option that includes the default script directories, finds scripts marked as system files, and also finds .applescript and .scptd (i.e. text and bundle format) scripts in addition to .scpt ones. -
For me it would be great to run a special File Action for "*.sublime-project" files just by pressing enter, without explicitly selecting a File Action using right-arrow or a workflow prefix. Description: 1. find a ".sublime-project" file using the normal fuzzy File Search 2. hit enter 3. run my custom sublime File Action / workflow Alfred can already move your custom File Actions to the top with "Sort action by last used per file type". An extra checkbox for implicitly executing the top-most action just by pressing enter is maybe enough to enable this feature. This is helpful when using Alfred as a cmd+tab complement to switch between open files and applications. Example: Switch to chrome: "chro...[enter]", then switch to a sublime project: "myproj...[enter]". (The latter would run my custom workflow.) Kind regards, Carl PS I have found a workaround by changing my "*.sublime-project" files in OSX to always open with a home-made application running some additional scripts when these files are opened.
