  1. Hi everyone, I'm trying to solve this problem that I frequently face. When I disconnect my Mac from the monitor (connected via USB-C), and then reconnect it when I'm back at my desk, sometimes it does not connect. The Mac does detect the USB-C cable, but I think the process needs a refresh, so I have to unplug and re-plug the cable to make it work. Is there a workflow or maybe a command that I can use to force it to connect by either restart the display process or something else?
  2. Just as the name implies, this workflow allows you to get search suggestions from Amazon.com. Actioning an item will open a search on Amazon for the suggested query. [Note: This workflow is no longer available, as the Amazon Suggest workflow is available in Alfred itself. Launch Alfred's preferences to the Workflows tab, click the [+] in the bottom left and choose Examples > Amazon Suggest to install the workflows.]
  3. Alfred 2 making that IMDB web search a little boring? How about a shiny new workflow for IMDB search suggestions? It leverages IMDB's own suggest protocol to deliver snappy results right into Alfred. (Really, it's fast. They're using static JSON files on a CDN.) Selecting a result will take you directly to the page for the film or name you're looking for, or if there are no suggestions, you can jump to a plain IMDB search page instead. Download GitHub Repo
  4. I've completely rebuilt redwall_hp's original IMDB Search Suggest workflow to include more information in results, a fallback for longer search queries using a cache, and a new icon. I've also changed the keyword to i but you can easily change that to imdb or whatever you like. I hope you'll enjoy! Download .alfredworkflow GitHub
  5. I've created a workflow for searching the Metacpan. This allows quick lookup of perl modules that are stored on the cpan. Download the workflow here... http://gordolio.com/mcsuggest In order to use this module you'll need to install the required cpan modules Run this command in your terminal sudo cpan JSON Time::HiRes XML::LibXML LWP::UserAgentCredit goes to the contributors to Metacpan for building such an awesome site.
  6. Grab it here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2705462/stackoverflow.alfredworkflow This is a fork of xhinking's awesome StackOverflow workflow (http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/1524-stackoverflow-workflow/) that shows how long ago the question was asked in human-readable format, i.e. "2 years, 3 months ago".
  7. Says 'Get Goggle Search Suggestions' ( ) instead of 'Get Google Search Suggestions'. Alfred v2.0.3 (184) on OS X 10.8.3. Replicated: yes
