  1. Alfred 2 Top Process Workflow The initial motive of this workflow is to avoid frequent visits to the Activity Monitor when the fan goes loud. Now it has been evolved with two major features: Suggestions are welcome. 2. I have wasted so much time on this :(. Almost all workflows throw the same error: "No such file or directory" and when I look in the debug tab for the workflow, I see that most workflows are looking for files in "Alfred 2" folder but I have "Alfred 3". Is there a fix for this? most workflows are unusable for me. Even Packal Updater throws this error: /Users/eibrahim/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data/alfred.bundler-aries/assets/utility/terminal-notifier/default/Contents/Resources/Terminal.icns: No such file or directory
  3. Hi, I am using Alfred 3 to create workflows for my team (internal use). However, some of my team members are still using Alfred 2, does any one know is there a easy way to export the workflow for both V2 and V3 users? Thanks!
  4. Chrome History - Version 1.0 Open Recent Google Chrome Webpages Introduction: This Workflow will use PHP to make a cached copy of Google Chromes SQLite History file. Then you can easily search through your history by keyword. Example Usage: ch will return all your browsers history with the latest at the top. ch alfred will return all pages in your history that have the word alfred in the URL or Page Title. 5. This is a limit imposed by UNIX, not Alfred, but the error message shown is slightly confusing, and there should be a way to overcome this issue. Right now, selecting more than exactly 260527 characters on my system and using it in an Alfred workflow (with the Argument:'selection in OS X' setting) as "{query}" will throw an error. You can see your system's bash argument character limit with: getconf ARG_MAX Alfred should allow a way to pass the selection as stdin instead of a quoted and escaped string, otherwise there is no way around this hard limit, and Line-Counting workflows, etc. a
  6. I've released a workflow that allows you to quickly create a google hangout for Google Chrome users. After creating the hangout, the workflow places the hangout URL into your system clipboard. Announcement and rational: http://blog.jonathanrwallace.com/blog/2013/10/08/quickly-create-a-google-hangout-with-alfred/ Project: https://github.com/wallace/google_hangout_workflow Direct download link: https://github.com/wallace/google_hangout_workflow/raw/master/Google%20Hangout.alfredworkflow
  7. Newbie here. Not sure exactly how to accomplish this. I have a APP called Frank DeLoupe that I used to pick colors for photo editing work. I have created a workflow that will launch the application just fine. My dilema is that once they app is started I need the command sequence of CTRL + Q to get the application to actually enter into picking mode. I've looked over a lot of forum posts but have not seen anything definitive. Can anyone in the community point me in the right direction?
  8. An Alfred 2 Workflow for clearing your OS X DNS cache on Mountain Lion (10.8), Lion (10.7), and Snow Leopard (10.6). You can find more details and the up-to-date download link here: randomerrata.com/post/49934511898/clear-dns-cache You can also find my other workflows on my blog: randomerrata.com/tagged/workflow
  9. I have installed mpd and ncmpcpp, controlling it via terminal is fairly easy: ncmpcpp toggle # Toggles play/pause But when I try to make the same trick with Alfred Workflow (Trigger: Hotkey --- Action: Run Script --- Output: Post Notification) with this shell script: ncmpcpp toggle or sh /path/to/myscript.sh --------------------------------------------------- #!/bin/bash ncmpcpp toggle ...only notification pops out. Same thing happens with Automator. So, how can I control ncmpcpp via Alfred 2?
  10. Hi all, I have created a theme for Alfred 2 that is based on the desert theme that can be found in gVim and MacVim. You can download it here: https://github.com/josh-fuggle/Desert-Alfred2-Theme I you like the theme, then please star the repository (found in the above link). Screenshot:
  11. These two themes are based on "Pistachio" theme that is shipped with Alfred. I changed them so that they look better on large displays. Hope that you enjoy them. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/675947/Alfred2/Oh%20Yeah%20Dark%20Pistachio.alfredappearance https://dl.dropbox.com/u/675947/Alfred2/Oh%20Yeah%20Pistachio.alfredappearance
