  1. Download media from a plethora of sources, even when embedded in other pages. Copy a link to your clipboard, run dv, and you’re done. The workflow will show you a notification when it starts downloading and another when finished. If you have WatchList you’ll see an option to automatically add the downloaded video to your watchlist. Run any option with the ⌘ modifier, and the full playlist will be downloaded. To see the download progress, run dvp. It will auto-refresh the progress. Actioning it with the ⌘ modifier will restart the current download (adding it to the back of the queue), while actioning with ⌃ will abort the current download. You can also run :downvidservices to install (or later remove, running the same command) DownVid actions to macOS Services. What this means is wherever you find a URL, you’ll be able to right click it and start the download right from the context menu. The Workflow Environment Variables represent the directories where videos will download to, as well as the audio format to save when that option is picked. Download | Source If on Alfred 3, download this one. Works well with WatchList
  2. Introduction The Get App Icon purpose is to: extract app’s icon from installed in /Application folder apps; extract app’s icon from Alfred action extension download app’s icon from App Store and Mac App Store Download from Packal → link direct download → link Screenshots How it works? To invoke Get App Icon workflow: use the icon keyword which will list all available in /Application folder apps; at top of results there is option to switch to online (App Store / Mac App Store) search that will search for typed app name; use File Action Extract app icon on chosen app on your Mac. The workflow behaves as follow: when used with local application it converts app’s icon in .icns format into .png using the biggest icon size (which is usually 1024 × 1024 or 512 × 512 px) and save it into Desktop folder; when used with online application it downloads its icon in .png format (please read Tips also for further information). Tips As you know, iPhone as well as iPad app icons have rounded corners. But the downloaded files will be squares until you meet this requirement: you have to have installed PIL library for Python. If you don’t have it, but want to, it is quite easy to install. First of all, you need to install pip — package installer for Python. Run below command in Terminal (required administrator password): sudo easy_install pip Next, install Pillow library using pip: pip install --user Pillow That's it. If you want to check if everything was installed properly run in Terminal command: python You will get into Python editor. Type in there: import PIL If everything was made properly you shouldn’t get any message just get into new line. Now you’re done! From now on the downloaded through Get App Icon workflow icons from App Store will have rounded corners! Release info:1.5: initial public release

Please see full details, updates (and source) of the project at GitHub. Download Video Downloader workflow. Here is a full visual list of what Video Downloader can do: And here is how the workflow nodes look like: Requirements: For the audio extraction (vd-audio) feature to work, you should install FFmpeg yourself manually (because of licensing issues). If you don't have it already; you can find details on how to install FFmpeg at the GitHub page. --- (While writing this, I found out about Vítor's workflow; which is also nice and uses youtube-dl. Well, I'm releasing this anyway for it's extra features like audio conversion, metadata info, etc..) Pls. drop a note if you like it... Thanks.
  4. I'm new here; I did scour the forums and also PacMax for help but couldn't find what I'm looking for. Alfred is doing some amazing things as far as within the OS but I'm looking for some very basic workflows that can interact within the browser. I've tried this extensively with Mac Automator but got nowhere. I am NOT asking anyone to build any workflows for me because I want to learn and customize it myself. I'm just asking for some similar templates or point me in the direction where I can start. Here's what I'm looking to do... Center my mouse cursor on a browser window. Right-click, "save image as". Save to a certain folder (continue with overwriting if need be, do not warn me). I feel that maybe this is so simple that it's not talked about or maybe I'm missing something really obvious here.
  5. Hey there, here is a "new" (not really new ... I'm using this quite for a long time) workflow for all premiumize.me users. You can generate a premium dl link via premiumize.me for any supported OCH link (for example uploaded.net). For more infos see my blog post about this workflow. How to use? After importing the workflow, edit the prm Script Filter (double click on the red logo) and add your premiumize.me username and password in the Script textbox on the bottom. By typing prm followed by your <OCH URL> the premium link will be generated. If the link is avaible you can hit enter and the premium URL will be copied to clipboard. If a hoster is not supported, unreachable or if the file is unavailable, the workflow will let you know. Download Link You can check out my blog or direct download the workflow.

  7. Hi all, First post, longtime amateur Alfred user. I want to create two specific related workflows with a rudimentary knowledge of code. Can anyone point me in the right direction? ~~~~~ Here is workflow #1: Search YouTube for {query} -> copy first URL in YouTube search results (or select from Alfred list of results) -> paste into iSkysoft and begin download of MP3 via iSkysoft Here is workflow #2: Take selected or searched MP3 on HD and transpose it up or down the desired amount of semitones in Audacity via {query} ~~~~~ Do these make sense? Are they even possible? Thank you! Josh

  11. Has anyone ever tried to use an Alfred workflow to pass a copied link into Jdownloader2 to have it queue up the download?
  12. Hi, A simple whois workflow where you can input a domain with or without http(s):// Posting my first ever workflow. By no means a programmer, so probably the approach of the workflow could have been done in several other ways. Suggestions are welcome! Working with a web development company, I do approximately 20-30 WHOIS searches a day. It was very easy to make an "Open URL" workflow with Alfred using "https://www.who.is/whois/{query}". However, that particular site is sensitive to http(s):// being part of the url… If http(s):// is part of the url, it will give a page not found. Therefor I found myself spending too much time on deleting http(s):// from my copied domains in the Alfred window. I needed to figure this one out. I wanted a workflow that no matter what I type, with or without http(s)://, would give me results on the https://www.who.is/whois/ page. Easier said then done, "Open Url" so far cannot be used as (part of) an Output. I actually needed to program! Yikes! So here it is, a simple workflow for those who use WHOIS on a regular base: Download Simple WHOIS workflow A few screenshots: Hopefully someone can use it… And please be gentle on my "coding"… as mentioned.. not a programmer! 13. Hello, I am a complete neophyte, who has satellite internet and limitations on downloads. We have a "free" zone from midnight to 5 a.m. and I would like to schedule app updates for that period of time. Can someone assist me please with creating a workflow? Thank you very much.
  14. MoonMovie(alpha) This workflow allows you to easily find streaming and downloading links for many movies and television shows Script Filters The script filters in MoonMovie include the following: Moon Searches most relevant titles MoonMovie Searches for a specific title of a movie MoonShow Searches for a specific title of a television show By using the keyword Moon in Alfred the following results appear. The default Moon option will search for the most relevant titles available, whether that be a television series or a single movie. Selecting a series in the default moon option will list out all available episodes of that series. The subtitle of each results allows you to see if that episode has links available for streaming. Not all links shown in the subtitle can be streamed from, so make note that some episodes or movies may not have streaming links When you select an episode from the episode listing above, a list of 5 available streaming links will load for you to choose from. When highlighting one of these stream links, CMD+Enter will load up the download link from that stream. The MoonMovie script filter searches for much more specific results than the default Moon script filter. Since the database for these movies isn't the easiest to work with, you may need to sometimes use a special parameter to find the movie or show you are looking for. This parameter is @year= With this parameter you can specify the search year, thus narrowing down your search immensely. MoonShow works the exact same way as MoonMovie, except for searching shows instead of movies. Action Modifiers The only action modifier in MoonMovie is CMD. When highlighting a streaming link, using this action modifier will get the associated download link from that stream. Download MoonMoviev1.2 [Download]
  15. I have created workflows for Sickbeard and CouchPotato, so I thought a workflow for SABnzbd would be useful as well. Download and setup instructions can be found here: http://fogh.github.io/SABnzbd-Alfred/
  16. Alfred users rejoice! I've made Workflow to search/add movies without opening the browser! Download it: http://we.tl/FVOZpHFLx6 Readme and source can be found at: https://github.com/RuudBurger/CouchPotatoWorkflow If you don't know what CouchPotato is, it can be found at http://couchpota.to.
  17. This is my first workflow. Critique away! Sometimes, when I download apps that haven't been signed for Gatekeeper, I get a warning about the app that requires me to right-click on the app and press "Open". I don't want to get rid of Gatekeeper, so I made this workflow. http://cl.ly/Ny7W keyword: rem Just type in "rem" and then type in the name of the app you'd like to remove the warning from. The workflow searches for all .app files, regardless of location: Created with the blessing of the Alfred v1 Extension creator, Andreas Zeitler. 18. Hi Chaps, I have a strange orange background. I have an equally strange blue-green Alfred theme. The colours are supposed to contrast nicely, according to some algorithm on some website somewhere. The algorithm in my brain agrees. Screenshot Download Enjoy!
  19. I made a theme that has a coloring scheme somewhat close to Quicksilver. Here is a link where you can download it.
