  1. Hi there, is there some way to configure the keyboard shortcuts? Specifically, I want to change or get ride of the following shortcut: ⌥ ⌘ / Go to last browsed path in the File System Navigation Thanks!
  2. I am often opening the same Folders: Screenshots, Google Drive, etc... What's the best way to workflow this?
  3. At some point, Alfred started hijacking my command key, so whatever app I'm using, when I double-tap command, it copies to clipboard. This is extremely undesirable to me, as I use a clipboard tracker and it's constantly being filled with random crap. I don't need this feature, however I have no idea, even after scouring through the app settings, where to disable this feature. Anyone has a clue? Please help
  4. Hi New here. I find that Alfred's shortcuts replace my application shortcuts. I would like it the other way around. i.e. if my appication uses Command-G then Alfred cannot use it. Is there a way to do this? Thank you S_
  5. There is some functionality attached to the `Ctrl + Enter` keys when launching and application, I can see the menu options in the advanced section as shown below. I it possible to disable the `Ctrl + Enter` functionality? That is, disable it, not change the settings. The reason is because I mapped `Ctrl + Ctrl` to the `Enter` key to save my right pinky except it conflicts with Alfred only when launching applications.
  6. I have been looking for a long time for a way to simulate a keypad to be used for InDesign. So here is a script that can do just that. opt + 1 will give you opt + keypad 1 Here’s the download link.
  7. I'd like to create a text triggered short-cut to go to a folder within Alfred, so that if I enter "/MyTrigger" into Alfred, it's the same as typing "/Users/Me/Documents/My Triggered Folder." I don't want to set a hot-key since I'd be navigating within that folder. E.g., I might enter "/MyTrigger/File I Want" or "MyTrigger/Sub Folder." Is this possible?
  8. I've released a new version of Text Snippets changed from Text Shortcut. Now Text Snippets can handle snippets and terminal commands. https://github.com/rtoshiro/alfred-workflows-textshortcut
  9. Context: * When using the File Buffer, alt is the default modifier and pressing alt + backspace removes all items from the buffer. * When the "Compatibility: Use shift+alt as modifier key" toggle is checked, shift + alt is required to interact with the buffer. Current Behavior: When the "Compatibility" toggle is checked... - pressing alt + backspace still removes all items from the buffer, with or without pressing the shift key Expected Behavior: When the "Compatibility" toggle is checked... - pressing alt + backspace should not remove items from the buffer - pressing shift + alt + backspace would remove all items from the buffer Alfred version & build number: 2.7.1 (387) OS X version: Yosemite 10.10.4 (14E46) Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/76tB5xc.png
  10. Are you keyboard junkie like myself? Have a ton of finder windows open or trying to copy and paste from one document to another... or some other unorthodox reason for needing window management? Yeah... me too. I've used several of the window management apps, they are all very cool and have a really cool feature set about them, but still can't justify the price? Yeah... me too. I've converted this Alfred extension from http://projects.jga.me/layouts/#toc3 to a workflow that uses both Hotkeys and Keyword trigger to help manage the top most window on your screen. Take a look at a look at Greg Allen's write up to learn how to use it. I only added a couple of hotkeys but feel free to edit to match your needs. If you already own a window manager like SizeUp take a look at Carlos-Sz - SizeUp workflow
  11. My Alfred is not showing me command history when I use the up-arrow key. This worked before, but I'm not sure what changed on my Mac to cause the Alfred App behavior to change. Is there somewhere in Settings that allows me to check the shortcut mappings? Alfred version 1.2 (220) Mac version 10.10.2 (Yosemite)
  12. Descriptions: This workflow will let you easily (keyboard shortcuts) close all the tabs to the right or left of the frontmost tab. How to setup and use: First, setup the shortcuts in the workflows preferences - I recommend using shortcuts like Command + Left/Right Arrow Then you'll use the shortcuts in Safari to close all the tabs to the right or left of the frontmost tab. Download Safari CloseTabs 1.0
  13. I think every Alfred power-user is keyboard Geek. We want to navigate through OS X using keyboard shortcuts as much as possible because it is fast as hell comparing with mouse actions. So why don’t make navigating through Alfred Preferences tabs faster by using keyboard shortcuts to switch them? I really like the idea of switching tabs in Mac App Store app using Cmd+1 … Cmd+5.
