  1. I use UI Vision extension to run automated actions in Chrome. I can add a script as a bookmark and click it to run the macro. Alfred automatically indexes chrome bookmarks, but not javascript applets added to bookmarks. Is there anyway to run them using Alfred? Sample attached. Sample url: javascript:(function() {try {var evt = new CustomEvent('kantuRunMacro', {detail: {name: "iZone",from: 'bookmark',storageMode: 'browser',closeRPA: 1}});window.dispatchEvent(evt);} catch (e) {alert('UI.Vision RPA Bookmarklet error: ' + e.toString());}})(); PS: Please don't suggest to export macro as HTML. There's another problem with that.

  6. Hi all, Spotlight has the ability to not only search for the title of a Safari bookmark, but also the content. Is there a way to do this in Alfred3? What I mean by this is lets say that I've titled my bookmark "A3" and the content is "https://www.alfredapp.com". I'd like to be able to search for "alfred", and get a hit for "https://www.alfredapp.com" in bookmarks, as opposed to having to remember the name of the title. Thanks.
  7. Hi All! I'd love a workflow that lets me search easily through all the pdfs on my system. How awesome would it be to quickly bring up a pdf by section, or a past bookmark/annotation? I think it would make a library of pdfs much more accessible. Requesting this workflow/pointing me towards one that already exists/some ideas for how to start working on it. Thanks Max

  9. Hi, I've got 1password talking to alfred to the extent that I can search 1p (name of 1password bookmark) and trigger a login. But I'd like to be able to add the 1password bookmarks to workflows. Reading through previous forum threads, my understanding is that I would need to find the bookmark in 1password, drag it to the desktop, and then drag it into an action block "luanch apps and files". But when I select the login in 1password and attempt to drag it anywhere (desktop or into "launch apps"), nothing happens. How can I get a specific bookmark o become part of a workflow? 1Password 6 Version 6.2 (620012) AgileBits Store Alfred v2.8.3 (435) thanks
  10. # Safari Bookmark Manager Alfred 2 Workflow to manage safari bookmark (delete / edit) # Installation You may need to install the gem (sorry...) Right-click on the worflow, show in finder. In Terminal, drag and drop the folder to `cd` to it. `gem install CFPropertyList` # Usage find a bookmark, go to file action, select `Rename Bookmark` or `Delete Bookmark` # How it's done? A bit sloppyly... Couldn't find a good doc to do it via iCloud directly. (and didn't really search for it). Alfred App find bookmark by because of their cache version in the user folder: ~/Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari/Bookmarks Each file is name with a unique id. Editing / deleting this file is not enough, it's just a cache.. Bookmark will reappear or be re-edited by Safari. Another file maintain a more permanent version of the bookmarks: ~/Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist Steps: - find the bookmark uuid (the cache file name, passed by alfred) - find the matching entry in the plist and edit it / delete it (also add entry for iCloud -- see code) - repeat the action on the cache file Source: http://github.com/huguesbr/alfred2-workflow-safari-bookmark Workflow: http://git.io/vBEVM

  12. Chrome Bookmarks Frustrated with current bookmark searchers I created this with SPEED in mind. I tried out many methods and languages for creating the fastest bookmark searcher without dependencies, just plug and play. This is the final result. This will search all of your bookmarks very quickly using fuzzy matching to easily match names and urls of your bookmarks. For instance "foo" might match "food" or "flood warning" or even "flounder" using n-gram to rank these results. View and Contribute on Github Direct Download Thanks for looking!
  13. Hello I have some links which I use daily (they aren't in my Chrome bookmarks): Admin - http:// Production - http:// Log - http:// Hangout - http:// ... I would like to create a workflow i.e. "links" to show these links and filter them as I type, if I click in the link it should open the url in Chrome. I didn't find a similar example, all of them seemed too complex for what I want. Is there a simple way to create such workflow? Thanks

  15. Hello, I would like to use Alfred 2 to open the bookmarks in Firefox. Opening the bookmarks in Safari is already working fine but my preferred browser is firefox for MAC, therefore is there any chance to open bookmarks in FF instead of safari. It would be perfect if there would be a chance to use the FF bookmarks instead of the safari bookmarks but I would be also happy if anyone would be able to give me a hint howto open the safari bookmarks in ff. Best Regards Marcus
