  1. SoundCloud Control for Chrome Inspired (err, mostly stolen) by Google Play Control for Chrome. It can change playback, display the current playing song in a notification, and search through soundcloud, all from alfred. Commands scp SoundCloud - Play/Pause sc prev SoundCloud - Previous Song sc next SoundCloud - Next Song sc np SoundCloud - Show what's playing now sc search Search SoundCloud Alternative version Currently it has the same bug as GPC which is that you can't have more than 1 tab of the website opened. I prefer this myself because the whole point of why I made this is so I don't have to switch back to the SC tab again. However, if you'd prefer it to only have it search through the first active tab of each window rather than each tab of each window, then I made a alternative version for you. Download Normal version (searches through all tabs of all windows) Alternative version (searches through all active tabs of all windows)
  2. Anyone here with an Onkyo (or any other) receiver that would be interested in controlling the power, volume and other things with Alfred? I'm considering making a small workflow to control my receiver with Alfred since I usually use it to play music
  3. Hi guys, this workflow lets you control your Parallels Desktop and VirtualBox virtual machines. I've tested it with Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac and VirtualBox 4, but older versions might work as well. 4. I updated my Rdio workflow to fix a few things. 1. Resized png icons and optimized (download is now ~210k, was over 2MB) 2. Fixed the Artist items not playing. Selecting an artist will now play their Top Tracks Channel. 3. Migrated to Workflows helper class 4. Added track count to Artist results 5. Increased performance of Now Playing item by limiting the number of Applescript calls made. Download
  5. Hi. I use BeotsMusic, which is essentially a non-official client for Beats Music. It supports full media keys, meaning function+f8 plays/pauses, function+f9 skips the song, etc. I got Alfred Remote mostly for it's ability to control music (and also to support Alfred, instead of using the ordinary remote app.) However, the media control buttons on Alfred Remote apply strictly to iTunes. How can I simply simulate a keypress (function+f9) or something similar? Thanks!
  6. Copied from the projects github.com page: https://github.com/benjaminpaap/SoundcloudControl SoundcloudControl for Alfred2 This is an Alfred2 workflow to control an opened soundcloud.com tab in Google Chrome. Installation Just download the SoundcloudControl.alfredworkflow to your local harddrive and double click on it to open Alfred2 and import the workflow. Usage When installed correctly SoundcloudControl offers some commands to control an opened soundcloud.com tab in Google Chrome: sc play Plays the first song in the currently opened soundcloud tab. This could be your stream, a playlist or anything else. sc pause Stops the playback of the current song sc next Plays the next song in the currently opened soundcloud tab sc prev Plays the previous song in the currently opened soundcloud tab sc like Likes the current song Contributions If you would like to use this workflow for another browser it would be great if you could contribute your changes to this repository as a pull request. I will review and merge it as fast as possible. Contributions are highly welcome. This is my first workflow I shared. Any hints on improving this are highly appreciated.
  7. Alfred Instacast Workflow Since Vemedio's Instacast now supports AppleScript, I've built a workflow for controlling it with Alfred. Commands icp - Toggles Play/Pause icv - Controls volume. (Accepted params are "mute", "min", "max", "half" or any number from 0 to 10) icm - Instantly mute Instacast icf - Forwards current podcast 30 seconds. icb - Backwards current podcast 30 seconds. It's pretty basic right now, but I got some ideas and think to add them in a near future. Dependencies Latest version of Instacast that supports AppleScript natively. Tested with "1.1 (2079)" Alfred Powerpack (Duh!) Links Download from Packal Direct Download from Github Project page on Github (For issue and feature progress tracking) Feedback, suggestions and tips (Since it's my first workflow) is always appreciated. Enjoy!
  8. Hi, with this workflow you can start or stop Teleport (arguments start or stop). Teleport (http://www.abyssoft.com/software/teleport/) is a software to share your mouse/ keyboard with two or more computers. Before you can use it, please run the workflow with the argument "install" - this installs a launchd daemon under ~/Library/LaunchAgents/Teleport.plist PLEASE NOTE: When you installed Teleport for all users, you need to change the line 11 in the plist file ~/Library/LaunchAgents/Teleport.plist: from <string>$HOME/Library/PreferencePanes/teleport.prefPane/Contents/Resources/teleportd.app/Contents/MacOS/teleportd</string> to <string>/Library/PreferencePanes/teleport.prefPane/Contents/Resources/teleportd.app/Contents/MacOS/teleportd</string> Andreas Download Teleport Control workflow
