  1. I would like to use Alfred to query a FileMaker solution. I have a script in FileMaker that executes a query based on the contents of the Clipboard. And I have assigned the ⌘-1 keystroke as the trigger. Here is the procedure that I'm trying to build. - Invoke Alfred. - Enter "fm " to tell Alfred that this is a FileMaker query. - Enter the search string. - Press Return. Alfred would then - Copy the string to the Clipboard. - Activate Organizer.fmp12. - Wait until Organizer.fmp12 is frontmost. - Perform the ⌘-1 keystroke (which will cause FileMaker to perform the query). I have created a workflow that recognizes the keyword and copies the search string to the Clipboard. But I don't know how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated. macOS 10.13.6 Alfred 3.7 FMPA 17
  2. Mac platform and OS. Have internal HD and external HD. When doing a search for a particular file or folder, Alfred "usually" finds the file/folder located on my external HD but the same file/folder located on my internal HD is not found. How can I configure Alfred to expand search results to encompass both, my internal HD and my external HD. #2 - Alfred unable to find .fmp12 files, whereas Spotlight is able to find .fmp12 files. (.fmp12 are FileMaker 12 files - a professional data base application). As you might have guessed, I am not some "tech-no" wizard so please keep any replies in simple, easy to understand, language. Actually Spotlight does a better job finding file/folders but Spotlight does not show the complete hierarchy, leading to the result, whereas Alfred does (when and if it is able to find what I'm searching for. Would appreciate anyone's help in finding a solution.
  3. I created a workflow to open 3 files (Filemaker files). All files are password protected. Normally I start one file, put in a password and it opens. The Alfred workflow ends with the first file :-(. This is the same for a keyword and a shortcut workflow. How can I get, what I want ?
