  1. Hello everyone! I wanted to attempt to create a workflow that does the following: Open a specific Google Chrome profile, wether or not google chrome is already open or not. I have tried this just in a bash script and never got the results I wanted..... This is what I was working off of: open -a Google\ Chrome --args --"profile-directory"="Profile 1 also tried /Applications/Google\ Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google\ Chrome --args --profile-directory=Default This is where i posted my original question: http://superuser.com/questions/759535/open-google-chrome-specific-profile-from-command-line-mac/759644#759644 So has anyone done this before, or have any ideas on how to create this into an alfred workflow? Thank you!
  2. Ever since I migrated from my 16-in Intel MacBook Pro to my 14-in M1 MacBook Pro, Alfred 4.6.1 [1274] on macOS 12.1 won't launch Google Chrome 96.0.4664.110. Chrome will launch with a click on the dock or the Applications folder icon just fine, and once Chrome is launched, Alfred can direct it like a champ. It's just the launch of the thing. I'm able to replicate this every time I try. I'll try to post a screenshot or screen recording after this initial post.
  3. Hi! Since the latest update some bookmarklets are showing with the native Web Bookmarks search (specifically Google Chrome Bookmarks). However they don't work (they open a Mac OS dialog asking for an Application to handle the "javascript" URL scheme, choosing Chrome or any browser doesn't do anything), and again only some of them are showing, I can't figure out the criteria for this (all of them are on the same folder, in the Default profile). What you were doing when the issue happened Searching a bookmark(let), then opening it. Whether you were able to replicate it a second time by performing the same action Yep, behaviour is persistent. Include any screenshots that might help us Include the Alfred version & build number you are using Alfred v3.5.1 [883] Include your OS X version OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 14D136 x86_64
  4. Hey all! I've created a new Workflow controlling Youtube Videos on Google Chrome! I use this mainly for listening to music, but it will work for anything! You can find the details here: http://www.packal.org/workflow/youtube-control I have not tested it with any other version other than Mavericks, so some help with testing would be appreciated! Again its only tested witht he latest Google Chrome. Additionally, this works best with HTML5 video which you can change here https://www.youtube.com/html5 It may break if Youtube updates their layout! Thanks, Phil
  5. Reproduce: 1. Open Google Chrome 2. Open Developer Toolbar as an external window. 3. Select the Developer Toolbar. 4. Open Alfred's input bar and search for something. 5. Instead of opening a new tap, a new window will be opened. It works as long as Chrome's actual browser window was selected at last. OS: 10.10.5 Alfred: 2.8.1 I have two example gif showing the issue but it seems like that there is no way to upload any attachments here.
  6. I use a workflow to open 6 urls in in my default browser (Google Chrome). Yesterday and today I got a "You can’t open the application “Google Chrome.app” because it is not responding." error. Urls open in a cryptic way -> not in the way they used to ( = In the reverse order "Open Url" actions are added to the hotkey trigger when I created the workflow). Console message: [INFO: alfred.workflow.trigger.hotkey] Processing output 'alfred.workflow.action.openurl' with arg '' Configuration: Alfred 2.5.1 (308) OS X Yosemite (Had no problem with this workflow when I was using OS X Mountain Lion). Google Chrome 39.0
  7. Hi everyone, I usually use two users in Google Chrome (personal & job) so I think it would be great to be able to set hotkeys to show the desired user in Google Chrome. Any idea about how to do that? Thanks
  8. I tried to create a Hotkey -> Open url workflow with this url "chrome://bookmarks/". Are these kind of urls not supported? Thanks.
  9. When Alfred opens Google Chrome to search or do any workflow involving the web, it opens a new tab next to the default new tab page. Is there a way to prevent Chrome from opening this new tab page when Alfred opens it? (it gets annoying always closing this extra tab) Thanks!
  10. open -a Google\ Chrome --new --args -incognito Executing that in a terminal command, the problem is the app terminal is shown too. Anybody knows a trick for avoid that? Had an extension for V1 but seems that doesn´t exist for v2. Thanks.
