  1. Hi there! I'm trying to set up a Hide All script for the Remote, effectively hiding every app whose visibility is set to True and opening Home. So far it works every time with ScriptEditor, but when I put it on the System Command as a Open Script command, it works only slightly. Sometimes it just hides Messages, sometimes everything or sometimes it just doesn't care at all. I'm sure there's just something wrong with my coding/app/tech understanding. I'm using Murphy's HideAll tell application "Finder" set visible of every process whose visible is true and name is not "Finder" to false close every window open home end tell Hopefully some of you peeps know what's best.
  2. someone at work keeps duplicating files and putting them into a folder on the server... i still need to search this server but dont want to open their duplicates by mistake.... how do i "hide" a folder from alfred?
  3. Add 2 or more items to buffer; action buffer 'Drag' an icon from the right side of the window to any other point. The window will move, but the popover for that icon does not disappear. When 'dragging' the buffer icons from Alfred's main search area, the window does not move and the popover disappears. Here's what it looks like: Alfred 2.0.5 (202) on OS X 10.8.4 (12E55). Replicated: yes
  4. I created a workflow that hides/unhides the icons on your desktop. I use this at work because i don't want others to see what is on my desktop. just type "desktop hide" or "desktop unhide" to hide or unhide the icons. 5. I like to hide my Desktop icons, specially when I'm going to present a keynote. This is a very simple workflow that executes a shell command to toggle the Desktop icon. I Hope someone else find it useful. Just use the keyword deskicons. Download Link: http://cl.ly/OEG8 If it's not working properly (no change, or icons reappearing in a few seconds) try executing the following command in the terminal: defaults write com.apple.finder CreateDesktop 1 After that it should work fine.
  6. Hide All Windows Download here Show All Windows Download here Just type "hide" to hide all windows and "show" to show them all back. Works with Finder Windows too! Enjoy guys! Sam
  7. I activated Quick Look, changed spaces via 3-finger swipe (which hid Quick Look), and returned to the original space. Alfred was still visible on that space and would not toggle when I pressed Cmd-Space or Esc. I had to click on him to restore proper focus behavior. Alfred v2.0 (131) on OS X 10.8.2. Replicated: Yes
  8. Hide dock icon

Would be nice to be able to hide the dock icon. If that's not already possible, and I'm just completely blind.
