I was hoping to use Alfred's snippets to store and edit 'canned responses' across various email accounts I manage. It works beautifully for text, but any hyperlinks are dropped. That is, "click <a href='location'>here</a> for help" becomes "click here for help" I know in Gmail that copy/paste retains hyperlink data, but any copy/paste into a text editor will drop the hyperlinks (I assume this has to do with meta-something). I'm not even sure if the TextExpander tools feature something like this, but support for rich html snippets would be amazing!

Hi everyone. I have a collection of custom web searches that I would like to execute using a hyperlink. This way I have a clickable solution to run it when presented with a reminder or am reviewing my notes. I could create a workflow with an external trigger, but it feels like a lot of added overhead to build and maintain for a simple mechanism. Is there a mechanism to trigger a specific Alfred custom web search via a hyperlink? e.g. "alfred://websearch (You need to check this today)"

Hi, I just spent an entire day switching to Alfred from aText for my text expander/snippets. My whole virtual medical office uses aText and I am getting them all to switch to Alfred. However, I have some snippets that have hyperlinks/links to a website in them - or so I thought. They worked in aText, but don't seem to work in Alfred. Any ideas how to get these links to be live? Thanks.

I'm trying to create a workflow to transform some text into a hyperlink and automatically paste it. I've copied some text to the clipboard that contains the bits that I need to form the URL. I have a script to create the URL and I can pass it to the Copy to Clipboard Output. But it's still just the URL text. I can modify the script to hack the URL into an RTF snippet. If I push the snippet on the clipboard in the script, I can paste it as a hyperlink, so I know it works. But, if I just pass the RTF data as text to Copy to Clipboard it doesn't paste as a hyperlink (just the RTF code as text). Anybody know if I'm approaching this wrong or if there's a way to programmatically create a hyperlink and automatically paste it to the front most app?
