  1. Iris A workflow for Alfred 3.0 that allows you to quick search for a movie or subtitles. The workflow script was built with Node.js and, believe it or not, you need to install it on your machine in order to run it. How to use it Movies The shortcut to search for a movie is: ⇧ + ⌘ + i. Alternatively you can use the keyword: iris. The alt key allows you to search for subtitles by selected IMDB id. Subtitles The shortcut to search for subtitles is: ⇧ + ⌘ + o. Alternatively you can use the keyword: os. You can also search for subtitles by providing the file path. It will calculate the hash automatically and suggest subtitles for the same release. 2. A workflow for Alfred 2 which lets you search for movies and see IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic scores for it. The workflow is based on the "Better IMDB Search" workflow by frankspin. It uses the OMDb API. Movie Ratings uses a single command: mr [query]: Looks up a movie matching the query. Using the copy shortcut will copy the movie's IMDb URL and clicking Enter will open the movie's IMDb page. Download latest release | Source v0.1 - Initial release. v0.2 - Workflow now asks user to input at least 2 search characters instead of showing "No results found". v1.0.1 - Fixes results not appearing because of change in the OMDB API

  4. IMDb Search with Ratings

Search IMDb in Alfred with movie and TV show ratings shown as results' icons. Features: See movie and TV show ratings right in search results When viewing indivial persons or titles, pressing Enter while the second result is selected (the one with a title's or person's name) will open a corresponding IMDb page in your default browser Items with an ellipsis in their title (e.g. “Director...”) are active: Pressing Enter when they are selected will perform corresponding actions (like showing the information about a movie's director or the list of actors starring in that movie) Items with “Press ⇧ to view” in their subtitles (Plot and Poster for movies and Biograghy and Photo for persons) can be viewed right in Alfred: Press Shift (the Quick Look feature must be enabled in Alfred's preferences) to Quick Look them Infinite browsing. For example, you could view info about a movie, then view info about its director, open the list of movies they are known for, select one of them, see the list of actors starring in that movie... and then go back all the way to your initial search results using the “Back” option Icon themes to match both light and dark Alfred themes Support for search term delimiters to increase performance by waiting for user to finish typing and add a predefined character to the end of the query (disabled by default, go to workflow preferences to enable) Download
  5. I've completely rebuilt redwall_hp's original IMDB Search Suggest workflow to include more information in results, a fallback for longer search queries using a cache, and a new icon. I've also changed the keyword to i but you can easily change that to imdb or whatever you like. I hope you'll enjoy! Download .alfredworkflow GitHub
  6. IMDB Search Suggest

Alfred 2 making that IMDB web search a little boring? How about a shiny new workflow for IMDB search suggestions? It leverages IMDB's own suggest protocol to deliver snappy results right into Alfred. (Really, it's fast. They're using static JSON files on a CDN.) Selecting a result will take you directly to the page for the film or name you're looking for, or if there are no suggestions, you can jump to a plain IMDB search page instead. Download GitHub Repo
  7. I combined two of the workflows that come with Alfred v2 to make this one. You still use the "movie" keyword like before but you now get a list of suggestions as you type the title. Download it here.
  8. Hey, I made a letterboxd.com search workflow. It's basically the same as the search IMDB or search movie workflow but here you can search letterboxd. As soon as letterboxd releases their API i will make some updates to the workflow. As of now you just can search everything. Just type "lb {query}" to search for movies, directors, actors or users on letterboxd. Download: Alfred Letterboxd Workflow
