  1. I was unhappy with the Alfred support for Continuity/Handoff calling via iPhone so I created this. It integrates with contacts. Use commands call [contact name or arbitrary number] and sms [contact name or arbitrary number] to make it work. 'im' is an alias of 'sms'. New in version 2 Faster than before Supports entering in numeric numbers also Now has primitive error checking. You should see the Facetime application pop up less. More hack-able FIXED: If Contacts isn't open when the command is invoked it will now close itself afterwards. Requires Alfred 3. Download from Github. Download from Packal.
  2. iMessage Workflow V3 My workflow has been easily surpassed by others, please use theirs ---------> http://www.alfredfor...red/?hl=unicall However, I'm updating this workflow to Alfred 3 for posterity's sake. Sorry for taking so long guys... Archive Change log: 2/12/2017 - Because of a specific error, I've updated this app. Alongside the minor bug, thanks to Amos Manneschmidt's workflow "Call or SMS contact", I learned how to use OSX's built in Contact app to feed out contacts. Furthermore, I updated this app to be compatible with Alfred 3. 4/30/13 - Non-Latin languages are now supported! I have verified Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. If it works for your language, please tell me! 11/27/13 - My extension prioritizes numbers that have been used before. This should allow Alfred to choose the correct number associated with a contact MUCH more accurately. Works only with phone numbers, not email addresses; A notification is now displayed when contacts are not updated successfully (mostly a response to Exceptions thrown when trying to update) 11/21/13 - Emoticons should now work; Alfred now opens up iMessage if its closed ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If using the OLD way: Setup: Run command 'IMU' before you start using the workflow Find Contacts and Send Messages: Keyword: "im" 1b. Send a message to the aforementioned contact 2. Reply to most recent iMessage or Group Message (Thanks to David Ferguson's Workflow) Keyword: ".." 3. Nothing terribly complex here, but I think it's pretty awesome we can do this sort of thing with Alfred: Download here (or go to my webpage for Alfred 1 version) Requires Prowl on your iPhone in order to receive the notifications and launch the dialling process. I'm assuming this could easily be modified to work with Android phones as well, but you'll probably have to wait for Boxcar or Prowl to release Android clients. Pushover might do it, but if it's as lame as the iPhone version, it won't auto-handle the "tel://" URL scheme. Love to know if it works okay for others. ---- 13 April 2014: Updated to v1.41a Fixed — inadvertently made incompatible with current public release of Alfred. 12 April 2014: Updated to v1.41 Bugfix — wasn’t creating storage directory for API key if not already present. 3 April 2014: Updated to v1.4 Removed Applescript GUI for API key input. Now just uses Alfred interface. Separate keywords in Workflow config. New icons (iOS 7 based). 25 March 2013: Updated to v1.3 Bug fix: hyphen “-” character was still causing invalid number error. Typos 20 March 2013: Updated to v1.2 GUI for user to enter API key rather than having to edit the code Documentation Better handling of other punctuation characters that might be in a valid phone number (including parentheses, *, # and .
  4. I’ve gone and created a workflow to dial numbers found on your Mac with your iPhone via PushDialer, as I found Florian Pellet’s PushDialer workflow a bit simplistic for my taste. This one has the full trimmings (dial from text selection via hotkey, from the Alfred prompt, or from the Alfred contact viewer), more robust filtering and error handling, Alleyoop support for updates as well as a nice little extra in the form of script filters allowing you to find numbers to call right out of Alfred: There is a somewhat more detailed post announcing it on my blog, and the workflow itself is on GitHub (direct download link is here). Hope somebody finds it useful. Updates: 1.0.1 fixes escaping of shell metacharacters (aka “who wants to dial your $PATH”). 1.0.2 queries with non-ASCII characters now work (aka “der Süden tanzt”). 1.1.0 Searchlight edition: significant improvements to the search functionality of the call family of script filters (see this post for the details). 1.1.1 fixes sorting of script filter results (aka “Alphabet, sagtest Du Alphabet?”). 1.1.2 fixes case sensitiveness in incremental searches (aka “a flock of cases”). Check for updates with Alleyoop, or re-download from GitHub.

  7. I managed to update the "old" myPhoneDesktop - Send to iPhone extension to an Alfred v2 workflow: randomerrata.com/post/45363184146/send-to-iphone Note: I am not affiliated with the original author of the extension nor with myPhoneDesktop. I just needed this for myself. Hopefully someone else will also find this useful. The original extension had Alfred Extension Updater support, this, for obvious reasons, does not.
  8. A little and simple sync workflow... i am tired to sync my devices manually and i dont want to wait until they are connected to charger. so with this i can sync them when i want to, for example when imported new music... nothing complex but i needed it in my daily use. itunes has to run an devices have to be connected(also wireless)... there is no routine for checking if they are available or something, when i have time i will add it... feel free to change it and repost it :-) hf buzr direct dl: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10113520/Sync%20your%20iDevices.alfredworkflow
