  1. I would like to know if there is a way to simulate the left arrow and right arrow keys using other keystrokes. Unfortunately, I was unable to fashion a working workflow from
  2. I'm creating a workflow to add tasks to Nozbe using a keyword + query. I have it functioning now, however, it has a flaw I think more experience creators can tell me how to easily fix (this is my first workflow creation). Currently I have the keyword triggering an AppleScript with the following code: on alfred_script(q) tell application "Nozbe" reopen activate tell application "System Events" key code 53 delay 0.1 keystroke "i" keystroke "a" keystroke "v" using command down key code 36 key code 53
  3. While typing into Alfred (using quick file search mode initiated by typing space), Alfred suddenly stopped responding to my input. I continued to type, and Alfred continued unresponsive. Closed Alfred, reopened. Alfred didn't remember my last query (the one that froze); a few seconds later, an update dialog from Alfred appears. Alfred functions normally following incident (without installing update). The update was for v2.0.8 (212). Log from Console.app Alfred 2.0.8 (211) on OS X 10.8.5 (12F37). Replicated: No
  4. Newbie here. Not sure exactly how to accomplish this. I have a APP called Frank DeLoupe that I used to pick colors for photo editing work. I have created a workflow that will launch the application just fine. My dilema is that once they app is started I need the command sequence of CTRL + Q to get the application to actually enter into picking mode. I've looked over a lot of forum posts but have not seen anything definitive. Can anyone in the community point me in the right direction?
  5. Hi, Since almost one year, I use a small AppleScript to keystroke the current date (from non-English system). With the option "Run AppleScripts instead of opening" ticked, I'm able to get the current date typed anywhere I want. However, since I migrated 2 Alfred v2, it doesn't work anymore. Note that it still works with Alfred v1. Here is the code: set FirstList to {1, 21, 31} set SecondList to {2, 22} set ThirdList to {3, 23} if day of (current date) is in FirstList then set DateEnding to "st" else if day of (current date) is in SecondList then set DateEnding to "nd" else if day
  6. Hi, My Mac keyboard is not working so well unfortunately as I spilt coffee on it. As a result, I can't invoke the "greater/lower than" keys (i.e. `<` and `>`), and I need them badly as I write a lot of HTML code. Is there a way to simulate a keystroke using Alfred's Workflow? For example, I'd love to configure a hotkey that will result in printing the `<` symbol, for example. Thanks.
