  1. A better unit converter Download V0.6 contact thijs@designandsuch.com for questions, bugs, ideas and such try out the demo There are more unit converters available. but i didn't like the lack of speed due to the feeds. Thus i redid one myself which calculates everything on your mac. It fetches new currency data once in a while.. that's the only time when a second delay might appear. And in my humble opinion it's already better than all other unit converters around. I might add more units in the future
  2. Hey, guys. I implemented a alfred workflow. You can do syntax highlighting code in clipboard using alfred-hl. Usage 1. Copy code snippet to clipboard (Cmd + C) 2. Highlight code - Type hl, space, find the language you want - Enter - Cmd + V to the rich text editor like Pages, Keynote Dependency - NodeJS 4+ - Install: brew install node Please read this document for detail and download
  3. Hello! Can Alfred search when entering something with wrong keyboard layout? For example i have Russian keyboard and can start typing "Ьшскщыщае" which is actually "Microsoft", i just forgot to change language. I would expect it to find any app named "Ьшскщыщае" first AND any app named "Microsoft" second. I know about forced keyboard but it is not exactly the same.
  4. Hi, happy to share yet another translation workflow. The existing ones I found didn't have support for some languages that I needed, so here we go https://github.com/rustycamper/alfred-translate-workflow/releases/latest Translate from/to your favorite language using Google or Microsoft Translate. Usage: * `tr` <query>: translate query. * `tr-setapi` <API>: select Google or Microsoft Translate service. * `tr-setkey` <API key>: set your API key. * `tr-setlang` <language>: set target language (language to translate to). Note: You won't
  5. I have a weird problem with my workflow. It does not show any results in Alfred but works when run from Terminal. But let me explain more on that topic. My workflow's job is to list Polish cities from webpage (get the list from JSON results from page) and download detailed weather forecast as png file. The main script is written in Python. The thing is, Polish cites also uses diacritical letters (ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź, ż). And when I want to use my workflow with city that contain one or more of mentioned letters – say <code>Gdańsk</code> the workflow itself won't work – just
  6. While getting back into learning Spanish I was looking for a way to make word research easier. For every new word I want to learn I am looking for Visual representation of the word (Google Images) Definition of the word in Spanish (WordReference) Audio recording of pronunciation (Forvo) The word in context and example sentences (Linguee) Translation(s) of the word (WordReference/Leo) Conjugation if the word is a verb (WordReference) Frankly, to open all these pages manually, click around to get to the language/section I want and finally enter my word is a pain in the butt. And it might have b
  7. Hello everyone this is my first post here, and one of my first Alfred workflows. I use photoshop and illustrator extensively for my work, and require both English and Chinese language. After updating to CS6 I noticed that many system hotkeys that I used before in previous versions of CS failed to work in CS6. For example COMMAND + SPACE works fine for pulling up spotlight or Alfred now, but OPTION + COMMAND + SPACE will no longer work for changing languages. This is hugely inconvenient when you are working with 1000+ photos and hundreds of illustrator files and need to be able to quickl
  8. It is easy to get the current system language of the mac and create feedback xml in multiple language. Unfortunately, it is not possible to define "Placeholder title", "Placeholder subtext" etc in different languages. Would it be possible to add multi-language support for the strings that can only be modified in the workflow editor?
  9. I’ve updated my Alfred workflow that allows you to quickly open an app in the language of your choice. If you're a developer, tester or translator, you might find this workflow useful. It's available (with instructions) here: http://adrianthomas.org/projects/Alfred-language-switcher-plugin Let me know if you have any suggestions or issues – enjoy!
