  1. Keep a list of audiovisual content to watch and listen to. We often have series of videos and streams that we’d like to watch but not necessarily keep after, but tracking which we’ve already seen (and are thus safe to delete) can be a chore. Select in the Finder the files or directories you wish to add to your list and apply the file action Add to watchlist. If the move_on_manual_add Workflow Environment Variable is set, the items will be moved to that directory (relative to your home). Items will be prepended or appended to the list, depending on the add_item_order Workflow Environment Variable. Alternatively, call swl to add the URL in your clipboard as a stream (add ⌘ for the full playlist). You then have some options you can pick from, all starting with wl. wlp shows the list of items you can play. A reference to each subtitle section can be found at the end. wls calls wlp under the hood, but lets you first select a sort order. In both cases, ↵ plays the selection. Add ⌘ to play without marking as watched or ⌥ to rescan a directory (useful if you made manual changes to it). If the top_on_play Workflow Environment Variable is set to true, the item will be moved to the top of the list before starting playback. Items starting with ≈ are streams. They show no file size (since they aren’t taking up any space locally) and present the link they were taken from as opposed to a location on disk. To play a stream you need mpv, IINA, or VLC. An item will never be marked as watched if we can access the player’s CLI and it exits with a failure exit code. wlu shows the list of watched items. The limit of recent items in this list is controlled by the maximum_watched Workflow Environment Variable. Action an item to mark it as unwatched. Note that in the case of files it does not recover them from the trash, as there is no reliable way to do so on macOS — that step you need to do yourself. If the item has a URL origin (you’ll see it in the subtitle) add ⌘ to open the URL in your default browser or ⌥ to copy it to the clipboard. wle allows you to reorder, rename, and remove items from the list. Finally, if you use DownVid it has an option to add the downloaded video files directly to your watchlist. Subtitle reference: There are three types of items: files, series, and streams. streams can be further categorised into single item or playlist. Each result has its name as the top title. The subtitle confers more detailed information and follows this template (~ means it never shows): ≈ (4) 𐄁 22m 32s 𐄁 691M 𐄁 /Some/Path ≈. Indicates item is a stream. file: ~ series: ~ stream: Always present. (4). Number of elements. file: ~ series: Remaining audiovisual files in directory. stream: Single item: ~. Playlist: All elements. 22m 32s. Running time. file: Running time of file. series: Running time of first audiovisual file in directory. stream: Combined running time of all elements. 691M. Size. file: Size of file. series: Size of first audiovisual file in directory. stream: ~ /Some/Path. Path. file: Path of file. series: Path of directory. stream: URL. 2. Hi, I created a custom search to show all gmail messages with a specific label, which works well (https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#label/{query}) However, I would like Alfred to suggest labels based on a custom list (e.g. a text file with all the labels). In other words, I would like to 1) type the keyword, 2) type space, 3) type the first letter of a label and have Alfred suggest all the labels beginning with that letter, so that I can select and send the {query} string. Is there a similar workflow I can edit, or would anyone have pointers on how to accomplish this? Thanks! Giovanni

  4. Hi, I am a designer and for my job I need sometimes to find a bunch of pictures for my design presentation. I've read several thread regarding this but I think I am still clueless as to how it works. Maybe just need some one to point me to the right direction. What I am looking for: I have a small list (10-15 words) with keywords on txt file: one two three ... ten And there is one site which I want to open in standard browser (safari) with this list of urls: https://www.shutterstock.com/search/one https://www.shutterstock.com/search/two https://www.shutterstock.com/search/three ... https://www.shutterstock.com/search/ten What is the best way to do it? Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Here's the link: https://github.com/Derimagia/awesome-alfred-workflows I didn't see an awesome list for Alfred so I made one! Would really appreciate it if anyone wants to contribute anything. If you don't know how to do a pull request and you think there's a workflow that's truly "awesome", post an issue! A lot of people seem to be liking it but I want this to be a community thing and right now it's mostly workflows I use.
  6. Hi, Here's my screenshot and request. Thank you!
  7. Hi Alfred lovers I’m new to Alfred and I was looking for a workflow that was able to store my favourite websites. More or less one like “Faves” from David Ferguson (http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/784-faves-formerly-favorite-folders/) but instead of storing folders it stored my favourite websites only. I’ll explain my situation. I have a list of websites from my university that i only need to access when I’m studying. My idea was to type “uni” and only then the list of pre set websites would appear, so that they don’t clutter my other search results I actually don’t know if this is easy or not or do, but here is the suggestion. Thanks a lot

  11. Hey everyone I was looking around to fill my workflow list from a fresh start up and I found it very difficult to find a good list of useful workflows that I can browse and download what I wanted. Its pretty time consuming going through the forums and going through each thread to find anything. Do you guys have any suggestions on this? I honestly feel like creating a simple website that would have a list of a bunch of workflows and themes for people to browse through and download. Developers could submit their workflows and users could request workflows. etc etc. Thoughts?
  12. Would be great to have access most recent (opened/modified) documents using Alfred with user settings like filters and conditions like exclude *.txt and such.
