  1. Hi all, I'm looking for a Wordflow which would act as a shortcut to merge all finder windows. Currently, I've gotta go to the Finder bar, tab Window, and then Merge All Windows. I know this isn't a big deal, but if I could create a command or something, that'd be sweet. Does anyone know how I might accomplish this? Thanks in advance.
  2. I'm a developer and the copy merge feature comes in very handy. Although, often I need to paste it into my code editor and do some additional editing - like add commas between each or && or whatever. It would be nice to (ideally, through the alfred interface) quickly change the setting of what separates each appended item—even set/add custom character(s).
  3. Hello, since Apple has removed the Pages.app function to fill out placeholders by drag'n'drop a contact-card from Address-Book.app, I wonder if anyone has created a workflow to substitute this kind of function. I will try to describe the workflow by giving it the name "Contact to Pages" Workflow 1. Setup placeholders in Pages e.g. "city": - in Pages select a word and go to Menu -> Format -> Advanced -> Define as placeholder text - now switch to the right panel -> More and remane the Script Tag "None" to "city" 2. Fire "Contact to Pages" workflow in Alfred which will prompt another entry to search for a contact 3. After finding the contact hit "Return" and the contact data will be filled into the placeholders fields which contain the appropriate placeholders. - in this case only the "city" of that contact will be filled Do you get the idea? I think especially for people who need to write letters a lot using Pages.app, this would save a lot of time. (sorry for my bad english, I'm from Germany) I searched the forum and other resources but didn't find a workflow like this. My programming skills are not existing unfortunatly. Have a perfect week, Sascha
  4. my problem is that I need to right click on some links and copy them, I can't CMD+CC on the link to merge them, and right clicking and copying twice won't trigger the merge behaviour. is there a way that I can merge those URLs ? or maybe after copying a bunch of them I can merge my whole current Clipboard history and paste it at once ?
  5. I have Clipboard Merging turned on and am running into erratic/unpredictable behavior. Many times when selecting text, typing cmd-c, selecting additional text, typing cmd-c-c, produces merged content from the previous-previous copied text and the current selection. For example, say I've been working in Xcode and have done a bit of copy-paste coding (I know, I know) and then switch to Safari to copy an issue number and want to append the description for pasting into the commit. I select the issue number and type cmd-c (the Edit menu briefly highlights) then select the description and type cmd-c-c (receiving the notification sound), go to paste and end up with the description appended to the last item I had copied in Xcode (at least I assume it's the last one). This doesn't happen every time and I'm leery of viewing the clipboard history (observer effect) prior to cmd-c-c. I've only noticed in Safari but that may be because that's where I do most of this type of copying. Running 10.9 (though this occurred in 10.8 as well), the latest Alfred release (v2.1 (218)), and have all the checkboxes active in the Merging options with 'Separate appended item with space' selected. I'd be happy to perform anything that would help diagnose the problem... I rely on this feature and want to trust it. Thanks!
