  1. I feel like I'm losing my mind: I can't figure out how to queue up an entire album from the mini player. Whenever I search albums, they show up but my only option is to select them, which dives into the album and only allows me to select a single song. Even if I pick the first track in the album, it stops playing after it finishes. Can someone PLEASE help?
  2. Whenever I select a track to play in the Mini Player, iTunes launches and plays the track. Is that how it's supposed to be, and if not, how can I stop it happening? This happens when I open Mini Player and press enter when a track is selected, or click on Mini Player's play icon.
  3. It would be extremely helpful if we could add music to the iTunes queue via Play Next or Add to Up Next from Alfred's iTunes mini player. Since this queue feature came out in iTunes I pretty much only use it to play music, so now I can't use Alfred to add music to play Thanks
  4. Hello Alfred Community! Firstly, thank you for the ongoing support and development work for the Alfred software - it makes a big improvement to my workflow which is very valuable. This is only a very small bug that does not make a very big difference to the utility of the program, but here is the information in case a fix would like to be developed. Bug overview When using the miniplayer to select a song from an album and the shuffle function is switched on in iTunes, an alternative (and incorrect) track to the one selected in the miniplayer is played. Software versions OS
  5. The mini player accepts half stars but I don't have half stars enabled in iTunes (nor do I want to). I'd like to disable half star input. I've looked in Alfred's preferences for a setting but couldn't find anything obvious. Does anyone know if there is a hidden switch to do this?
  6. I'm sorry this post is quite wordy. Feel free to skip to the summary of my suggestion at the bottom. Please post if you would also like to see these features. In the iTunes Miniplayer, you can select songs by an album, artist, genre or playlist. When you select an album, you can choose a specific song from that album and play it. Thereafter, the rest of the album will play. Great. I love the behaviour of the Miniplayer in this case. But what if I want to choose an item from a playlist and then listen to the rest of the playlist? Then I have to select a playlist and hit "Next Song"
  7. Hi! Almost every time I call the iTunes Miniplayer and start typing I see the following error in Console.app: 05.11.13 17:58:23,767 Alfred 2[18530]: [ERROR] AppleScript Error: { NSAppleScriptErrorAppName = iTunes; NSAppleScriptErrorBriefMessage = "Can\U2019t get container of container of current track."; NSAppleScriptErrorMessage = "iTunes got an error: Can\U2019t get container of container of current track."; NSAppleScriptErrorNumber = "-1728"; NSAppleScriptErrorRange = "NSRange: {0, 0}"; } Everything functions as it should, though - I can browse, choose
  8. Hi all I have a rather odd problem. When I use Alfred 2 iTunes mini-player I get the following message: https://www.dropbox.com/s/boy2l3k4d90foyr/alf_miniplayer_error.png Unable to compile script 'itunes' You really shouldn't be seeing this message! Alfred compiles and caches AppleScripts to make things faster. Something has happened which has prevented Alfred from doing this for e.g. osacompile does not exist or there is a permissions problem. Alfred will fall back to internally compiling scripts when it needs them. The mini-player does then work, but i feel that
  9. I use the mini player all day to listen to music. Because I use apples AirPlay technology, it is not possible to control the volume over the media keys on my keyboard (this only changes the volume of the inside speakers). It would be great if the mini player would get a volume control, so I don't have to open iTunes every time, to change it. I have done a quick concept how I could imagine implementing it. Cause mini player only uses the enter key to navigate, it would be simple to use the left and right arrow keys to control the volume. Either just when you have selected the volume fi
  10. It'd be neat to be able to use the mini player to add the currently playing song to a particular playlist. I'm sure it'd be possible to create a workflow to do this, but I wouldn't know how to go about making a script filter (I intend to remedy that when I next have time ), and it seems like something that might be more appropriate as a built-in feature. Just a thought :-)
  11. Hi! I have usually activated the random mode on iTunes so, I've just realized about a bug selecting songs with the mini player. If I search a band > an album > and then select a song, iTunes plays a random song from the album I was looking for, but it's not the song I selected. As I said, this happens in iTunes' random mode. If I disable random mode, it works great.
  12. It appears that Alfred doesn't find/catalog new music. I tried playing a recently purchased an album on iTunes, but I can't navigate to it using the mini-player. I’m using Alfred v2.0.1 (173) and OSX 10.8.3 (but I couldn't do it on previous versions of OSX or Alfred as well). Below is a picture of the mini-player not finding Lindsey Stirling even though it shows her song playing.
  13. Have installed the b112 release which enables the iTunes mini player. Is there any means to control the iTunes volume within the mini player? I realise I can change my master volume via the keyboard media keys; I'm looking to be able to control iTunes volume separately.
