Excuse my newbie frustration here. I though it would be the most simple workflow but I cannot figure this out. I have a specific document which I need a hard copy of once or twice a month to print out to my default printer. I would love to have a hotkey to just do this. Why is it so hard? It is a pages doc and I figured out how to open the file in pages, but it would appear that printing requires scripting knowledge beyond my expertise. It seems like such a basic need I don't understand why this is so difficult. Thanks for any help.
Hello, since Apple has removed the Pages.app function to fill out placeholders by drag'n'drop a contact-card from Address-Book.app, I wonder if anyone has created a workflow to substitute this kind of function. I will try to describe the workflow by giving it the name "Contact to Pages" Workflow 1. Setup placeholders in Pages e.g. "city": - in Pages select a word and go to Menu -> Format -> Advanced -> Define as placeholder text - now switch to the right panel -> More and remane the Script Tag "None" to "city" 2. I have Pages '09 as my main word processor. When I try to open a Pages template (using Alfred 2) that I use quite a bit, it always tells me that the template is a file that needs a newer version (Pages 5) of the program I'm running. The weird thing is that when I open this template using a shortcut program called Overflow, opens normally and into Pages '09. Why is Alfred the only program that's not letting me open this template?
