I know that a link to an online PDF file can be passed to a google translate query in the following way: http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=nl&u=`<URL to any online PDF file>` to translate an online PDF file. This works as expected if I pass the URL to the online file as the query part in Alfred. But that does not seem to work for local files. Is there a way

Download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ablkq7p94dxnn5l/PDF Actions.alfredworkflow?dl=1 Not as versatile as Skimmer : PDF actions for Skim was, but working and hopefully more future-proof.
  5. Good day, OK, I am trying to figure out why Alfred will not find a phrase in a pdf that Spotlight finds successfully. So far, I have done the following: Confirmed that Spotlight can do the search successfully. Using the "in" keyword in Alfred, verified that Alfred cannot do the search. I've confirmed my Spotlight prefs are searching pdfs. I've used the "rebuild Mac OS X metadata" from the Alfred control panel. I've waited for the mdimport tasks to complete. I've reset the Alfred search cache. I've entered various terminal commands to rebuild the indices as well. I've pulled out

Usage:

  9. Hi -- I'm a long time Text Expander user that has fallen in love with Alfred, and am wondering if I can do everything I need with the latter. One thing I'm still struggling with is how to implement a system to enforce consistent filen aming conventions. Basically I need a system to help me stay disciplined about naming basic PDFs (home and business records) using a convention like YYYY-MM-DD - <vendor> - <account> - <purpose> So my bills would end up being something like 2018-01-15 - ATT - XX5555 - confirmation of invoice payment.pdf I've don
