Hi, I sometimes ran into the problem that there still was some formatting (e.g. URLs) in my clipboard even though I pasted it as plaintext. With this tiny script, there will be nothing but plaintext left. Have fun. Download Source I linked it to Command+Option+Shift+C (equivalent to paste as plaintext). Saves me time every day. (I'm new to this, please tell me if I misbehaved in any way)
My feature suggestion is that clipboard history should support rich text and there should also be CMD+OPT+V (or some other user-configurable Hotkey) that strips any formatting and pastes plaintext. The lack of this feature is the main reason I don't use Alfred as a clipboard manager. I don't need rich text a whole lot, but when I do, Alfred isn't up to the job. (For anyone that's interested, I use Keyboard Maestro to implement Paste as Plaintext.)
I have to use a lot of italics and underlining in my work. It would be super helpful if clipboard would have an option to copy and retain formatting as well as the plain text. Otherwise it is useless for me. Otherwise, great job. I love my Alfred. And thanks to all the amazing people making the workflows
