  1. I am just a beginner, but I thought I would share this simple workflow that does not rely on scripts or variables. It is basically a workflow designed to launch Microsoft Office applications and produce a new document from a template document. I have split the workflow by application so you won't be opening a slew of applications and files at once; I believe, in the real world, you may not really want to launch a bunch of applications and files all at once. There is not much documentation to go with this workflow; it uses tools already accessible within the "All Workflow Objects" workflow as a smorgasboard of tools readily accessible. There are no scripts and it does not rely on variables; just basic stuff. Please send me some feedback and let me know if you like this workflow. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hgkff2sdv7sgq6d/LAUNCH 2 OFFICE DOCUMENTS.alfredworkflow?dl=0
  2. I often find myself wanting to AirDrop a file or iMessage an image, and I do a large portion of my file management with Alfred, however I have to dart into Finder to do these things. It would be nice if a Share action could be implemented into File Search, perhaps just another window of actions within file search, perhaps some other way.
  3. alfred-mountain-lion-builtin-sharing ========================== Use built-in sharing introduced in Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion directly from Alfred! Description This workflow is using the amazing command line terminal-share You can call directly share command (or use a hotkey) if you just want to share a message. If you want to share a file (image, video or any other kind), you can select it using a File Action, or set a hotkey. It currently supports all services except sinaweibo, youku and tudou (I can add them in a future release). Based on the type of the selected file, services proposed will change. Here are some examples: Screenshots Download the workflow Download the workflow below and open in Alfred. 4. Web Server Easily start a web server and add files to it (v 1.3.6) ------------------------------------------ Update 1.3.6: - Port number wasn't copying to clipboard when checking the IP Address. Update 1.3.5: - New and Better IP addresses checker. My Thanks and Credits to Shawn Rice. - Now php.ini and index.php files are hidden as well. - Fixed some other bugs. I hope the initial setup works properly now. Update 1.3.4: - Uploads won't overwrite existing file with same name anymore. - Moved user defined port file to Workflow data storage. Update 1.3.3: - Auto-refresh page after upload is completed! - New notification banner saying "Upload Completed". Yay. Update 1.3.2: - Upload feature revamped. Now you can Drag and Drop files and then upload You can even rename them before uploading. - It seems PHP has upload and memory limit. So uploading big files wasn't working. Hopefully everything works now. Or at least 2GB files. Update 1.3.1: - HUGE mistake. Sorry. The last update wasn't copying the new files to the Server folder. Update 1.3: - Added ability to Upload files - Now you can check your Local and External IP addresses - Set the Server Port number to any Port you want Update 1.2.1: - ***CRITICAL*** Fixed huge typo bug. The server wouldn't stop if your local IP address didn't start with "10" Update 1.2: - Fixed an issue with the File Action "Add Files to Web Server". Update 1.1: - Changed Server folder location to Workflow Data storage. (Thanks, Shawn) - Added Readme content. ------------------------------------------ Requirements: - Mavericks or any prior OS X with PHP 5.4 Description: The default server's port is set to 21025. To access the web server folder, open your browser and go to your local IP address at the mentioned port. Example: "10.0.1.5:21025" You can access your Web Server folder from any computer in the same network. If you want people from outside your local network to be able to access your Web Server folder, you have to clear the port in your router's settings (Google "port forwarding"). After clearing the port, use your external IP address instead of your local IP address. Example: "179.233.196.211:21025" Also, the Web Server allows you or people who are accessing it to upload files, as long as the file is an allowed extension. This limitation is for security purpose. Instructions: + Keywords: - "server": Lets you start the server (if it's not running) or stop the server (if it's running). - "server open": Open the Web Server folder. This is where you put the files you want to share. - "add": Copy files selected in Finder to the Web Server folder. - "server ip": Check what's your Local and External IP address. - "set port": Set the Web Server port number to any port within the valid range of 0 and 65535, so long as it doesn't conflict with an already assigned port. + File Action: - "Add Files to Web Server": Copy selected files to the Web Server folder. 5. This workflow lets you start sharing your screen via Screenhero: It shows your currently online Screenhero contacts. When you action a result, it will start sharing your screen with that contact. If you have multiple monitors, it will ask you to choose a monitor first. Download the workflow. Requires Screenhero to be installed and running: download Screenhero here. Thanks and let me know what you think!

    Google+ Workflow

This is a workflow based on the "Search and Share on Google+" workflow by the user Chris on this forum. The only flaw in this workflow is that it doesn't grab the URL from the browser automaticly, with this update/workflow it will. To share a URL to Google+ with this workflow, you do the following: Use the keyword 'gplus' and select 'Share a link on Google+' (or setup a keyboard shortcut) to activate the sharing of the URL from the frontmost tab in your browser. If you'd like to add a comment - write it after a space between the gplus keyword and the comment you would like to write. Supported Browsers: Google Chrome Safari Firefox Opera Creds go to Chris for this one! Download the workflow here
  7. I work on a Mac in a Windows dominated work place and often have to send links to files and folders on network drives to other users using Windows PC. Is there any way to create a workflow that copies the path to the folder and magically transforms it into a link that a Windows based user can click on?
