I used to be able to type the first few characters of a person's name and it came up almost instantly. With the latest update, the three web search options pop up for all names...then after 10 or more seconds it finally finds the name. It used to be so fast? I am running version: 2.0.5 with powerpack installed. -
As you can see in this little video (needed something to demonstrate) my workflow (the toggle wifi) shows up at the top about a second after the Wireless Diagnostics app shows at the top. Hi, my Alfred (Build 214) is very slow when typing something. It freezes after every letter I type, sometimes with a spinning beachball. I use a Retina MacBook Pro 15" which is running 10.9 Mavericks GM. I already did a "Clear Application Cache" and "Rebuild OS X Metadata". I recorded a video - its showing me typing the word "test" in normal tempo, waiting until alfred catches up and then hitting the backspace-key 4 times. Ever since upgrading to the new version, plus Powerpack, Applescripts are taking forever to come up in Alfred searches. I use Applescripts to jump between workflows all day, so it's really slowing me down. Is there a way to make Applescripts higher priority? Is it normal behaviour for them to take so long to show up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
