  2. How to open url or keyword link with Alfred Bar, but to stay on the same tab? I want to open new tab without leaving current focused tab. Thank you for any help!
  3. Hello everyone! I have link https://www.shutterstock.com/search?searchterm=test&sort=popular&image_type=all&search_source=base_landing_page&language=en&page=1 The question is, how can I go to the page=2 https://www.shutterstock.com/search?searchterm=test&sort=popular&image_type=all&search_source=base_landing_page&language=en&page=2, and page 2+1=3, https://www.shutterstock.com/search?searchterm=test&sort=popular&image_type=all&search_source=base_landing_page&language=en&page=3, and page 3+1=4, https://www.shutterstock.com/search?searchterm=test&sort=popular&image_type=all&search_source=base_landing_page&language=en&page=4, and page 4+1=5 ... , etc ... on the same tab on Safari, with shortcut? It will save a lot of time. Thank you for any help!
  4. Hi, I would like to auto-fill forms with Snippets (v.3). Therefore I'd like to use the TAB command to navigate from one field (e.g. name) to the next (e.g. address). The example would be: --- John Doe {TAB} 123 Fakestreet {TAB} Mytown --- Or is there already a workaround for that? Thanks.
  5. Workflow adds a file action that allows you to open either a file or folder in a new finder tab rather than creating a new finder window which is the default behavior. Only works on Mavericks. Click here to download.
  6. Hi, I just tried creating a workflow that will copy a single tab character to the clipboard and paste it into the frontmost app. However, the Copy to Clipboard item's textbox will show me entering the tab character, but when I hit Save and then reopen that Output action, the tab character is gone. I'm guessing that textbox is trimming whitespace upon saving. Is there a way to force the tab character to persist? Thanks, T PS The reason I'm creating this workflow is to get around OSX on Chrome not recognizing Option + Tab, or other typical commands to force a tab in a text entry area.
  7. This is a very simple workflow that searches Ultimate Guitar for a guitar tab of the song currently playing in iTunes. Use it by simply typing "tabs" in Alfred which will automatically open Safari and display available tabs. Enjoy and keep on rockin'! Get it here: http://gum.co/tabs I am working on improving this extension and making it a lot more powerful! New version coming soon... Your support is much appreciated Also check out a similar extension for lyrics: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/1633-itunes-lyrics-search/
  8. This workflow allows you to search tabs open in Google Chrome, and bring them into focus. Still need more work, but I wanted some feedback. Source: https://github.com/peteokma/alfred-workflows/tree/master/workflows/chrometabs Workflow: http://d.pr/f/YnVl
  9. Hi, Being so used to Quicksilver and then LaunchBar, I find pressing TAB much faster than RETURN to 'action'. <type> - <hit return> - <type> How can I change this to the tab key? Can't find it anywhere in the options! Thanks, Ross
  10. Hi all, New Alfred user here. I wanted a way to open a new tab, new window, and new incognito window from alfred, but couldn't find an existing workflow for new tab so I hacked one together from the 'new window' workflow I found. And I figured someone might be interested in having all 3 in a single place. Here's a zip of the workflows for anyone interested: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/29173129/Google%20Chrome%20Workflow%20Kit%20for%20Alfred.zip And here is the applescript I used for each: New Chrome Window on alfred_script(q) tell application "/Applications/Google Chrome.app" make new window activate end tell end alfred_script New Chrome Tab tell application "System Events" set myList to (name of every process) end tell if (myList contains "Google Chrome") is false then do shell script "open -a Google\\ Chrome --new --args" else tell application "Google Chrome" activate tell application "System Events" to keystroke "t" using {command down} end tell end if New Incognito Window tell application "System Events" set myList to (name of every process) end tell if (myList contains "Google Chrome") is false then do shell script "open -a Google\\ Chrome --new --args -incognito" else tell application "Google Chrome" activate tell application "System Events" to keystroke "n" using {command down, shift down} end tell end if
  11. I have made the Tab key show actions instead of auto-completing, so is there a way to instead replace the Tab key with another key for auto-completion? Like with the Ctrl key?
  12. Just like the system `quit` command in Alfred, but activate instead of quitting the apps. if support searching tab in safari/ chrome, that must be more attractive.
  13. Hi, I was wondering if its possible to use tab to cycle between the completion suggestions. Many times I'd like to select the second option and tab+enter seems faster and more natural (similar to chrome predictions) as opposed to cmd+2 There might be a option to do so that i'm missing. Thanks, p.s. Excuse me if this a duplicate, I can't search for the word 'tab'
  14. Is there a way to toggle a web search to open in the background only, without changing the active tab? I often do a bunch of web searches at once, but it's inconvenient when the browser changes away from the page I am looking at.
  15. Pretty much what title say but im not sure if it's possible. It would be pretty sweet to type something and see opened tabs on other devices and open them all. Thanks.
  16. On opening the Alfred Preferences and editing a 'File Filter' object's 'Advanced' fields: Press [+] button Select 'Other...' Hit the [–] button before exiting text field Add more fields (any of them) Next item will be blank Next item will have display problems when field view is scrollable This only seems to happen on the first edit after launching Alfred Preferences. Subsequent edits within the open Preferences do not glitch.
