  4. Hi Alfred Team, I'm a new user and have difficulties browsing my default browser chrome after I used search via Alfred. MacOS: Catalina Chrome: Version 81.0.4044.129 Alfred 4.0.9 [1144] Step to reproduce: - call Alfred via Alt-Space - type any text I'd like to find + enter - result: new tab opens with expected google search result BUT: I can't close this tab with Cmd-W, only by clicking with mouse hover on any link, the pointer doesn't change to hand pointer - still arrow pointer. I need to do double-click (instead of one
  5. Loads iCloud tabs from all connected devices and lists them as links. Current device is excluded. It works by copying the ~/Library/SyncedPreferences/com.apple.Safari.plist file to a temp location, converting to XML then parsing the result. https://github.com/kmarchand/iCloudTabsAlfredWorkflow

  7. Hello, I rely on Alfred exclusively for traversing my file system - opening files and folders with Finder, that is. The problem is that every new folder that I open - unless it already is - is opened in a new tab. Since I jump to and from my Mac's directories like a wild ferret, a simple browsing session results in dozens of Finder tabs. Is there ANY way to make folders open in a current/most recent Finder tab? This would be a real lifesaver. Path Finder behaves likes this out of the box and it's really nice, but the rest of that software is so buggy I couldn't use i
  8. I want to create a workflow that would open a few urls as pinned tab in my default browsers. I have tried with one url and it seems there is no option to do it. Workflow's file is accessible here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/geruuw94ac1ow1g/Open_As_Pinned_Tab.alfredworkflow?dl=0 Thank you.
  9. Search, activate, reload and close your active Chrome and Safari tabs and favourite sites. RBT allows you to do the following all from within Alfred: Search all open tabs across Chrome and Safari and load a selected tab. Reload a tab forcibly when you select it if you want. Add "favourite" sites to the workflow for quick access with defined keywords. Synchronise your favourites across computers. RBT for Alfred has been forked from the Search Tabs on Safari and Chrome workflow developed by Clinton Strong (with Clinton's blessing) and could almost be considered v2 of Clinton's origin

  11. This is a workflow adapted from the works of gekkoh's iTunes lyrics search, but this one searches ultimate-guitar.com for the current song playing in iTunes. Hope you like it! If you wanna change it, feel free to make it better. https://www.dropbox.com/s/cabsm6n3gcqysq2/iTunes%20Chords%20Search.alfredworkflow
  12. This workflow allows you to view and open iCloud tabs from all your devices (except the current one). Unlike this workflow, my workflow also allows you to narrow the results using keywords. For example, entering "itabs apple iphone" will return only iCloud tabs whose page title or URL contains both "apple" and "iphone". You can also quickly open all your iCloud tabs using keyword "alltabs". Download This workflow uses the awesome Alfred Objective-C framework.
  13. Simple query search for ultimate-guitar.com. http://cl.ly/3h0y2Z3N042G

  15. When using a Terminal Action in a workflow, the Terminal app is started and the command run successfully. If, however, a new tab is started with cmd-T or through the Terminal "Shell" menu, the command that Alfred originally sent to Terminal is run again in the new tab. Cheers, -Ben
  16. Wanted to do a quick post really quick as a response to a user on Twitter asking about opening files in new tabs. User @moomadcow referenced an article on the QuickSilver blog that mentioned opening files in new tabs and then linked to a plugin for QS that provided the functionality. There isn't currently any form of API or native support for opening a location in a new folder. That's why something like this doesn't already exist in Alfred. Alfred opens files by performing the same type of action you would see if you were to use the open command from the terminal. This method provides bett
  17. When Alfred opens Google Chrome to search or do any workflow involving the web, it opens a new tab next to the default new tab page. Is there a way to prevent Chrome from opening this new tab page when Alfred opens it? (it gets annoying always closing this extra tab) Thanks!

  19. Descriptions: This workflow will let you easily (keyboard shortcuts) close all the tabs to the right or left of the frontmost tab. How to setup and use: First, setup the shortcuts in the workflows preferences - I recommend using shortcuts like Command + Left/Right Arrow Then you'll use the shortcuts in Safari to close all the tabs to the right or left of the frontmost tab. 20. Hey guys, once I got used to opening URLs with Alfred instead of activating safari and hitting cmd+t, I kinda wished Alfred 2 had this feature. If I want to open a new tab, I can do so by hitting cmd+t or do it via Alfred. But if I want to ‘replace’ the current tab with another address, I can only hit the Safari shortcut for focusing the omnibar and start typing. Wouldn't it be much nicer if I can, whether it's a standard web search or a workflow with suggestions, hit for example shift+return and have the action Alfred executes (if browser related) be happening in the current tab inste
  21. I've recently switched to Powerpack. I am very excited to see how it could make all the repetitive tasks much easier. I have a problem, though. Sample workflow “Should I watch this movie?” opens Web pages in different windows. It is a pain to navigate between those when you already have many browser windows open. Is there a way to open them in tabs of the same window?
