workflow: loop through files in a directory

Hello,

My first look at Alfred. Excited about the Workflow. But how would I loop through all files in a directory, launch an app to process them, log that a file has been processed, and append the result to an output file? Or is this logic beyond Alfre?

Hi, thanks for the reply. No, I still don't have a copy of Powerpack. I'm trying to find out first if Alfred can do the very first thing I'd like Alfred to do. Could then direct me to the page where I can read the capabilities of Workflow?

@dakila Anything you can do with a script, you can do via Alfred. So yes, that is possible.

@dakila Elaborating a little on what @vitor said: 

 

Alfred can be used to launch/trigger a script to process files in a given location, but you don't specify what app you'd like to launch and whether actions in that app can be automated using AppleScript for example. This will be an essential part of your puzzle
