idens
Hello. I am new to Alfred, and like it so far, and want to take it for a real test spin. To do this, I realise that i will have to buy a license for accessing the powerpack features. AFAIK I can't get a trial license(?). Being a student, i am on a tight budget. To try it out i would like to buy the single license, as this will minimise my loss if I decide that Alfred isn't for me. However, if I do decide to stick with Alfred, this option is more expensive, as I have to pay for any upcoming updates. My question is this, if i buy the single license, and decide to stick with Alfred, can I do an "upgrade" to the Megasupporter license, and only pay the difference? Link to comment
vitor
When Alfred went from version 2 to version 3, you could indeed upgrade your Single User license to a Mega Supporter. There’s also a license upgrade page, so I’m guessing this will continue to be possible. All that said, pinging @Vero since she’ll know for sure. Link to comment
Dan Brooks
An answer to this?? Yeah, wish you could offer a basic trial. I buy too much software that just isn't used. Link to comment
Vero
@Dan Brooks We give away the core version for free and price Alfred's Powerpack as affordably as we can for everyone to take advantage of every day You can purchase a Single User license for the current version of Alfred, or the Mega Supporter license, which includes all future updates to Alfred for Mac for free. Cheers, Vero Link to comment
