hotkey to open word

I am trying to Set up using a hotkey to open word 2011

i have searched here, google and youtube.

 

I have found several suggested ways to do this, But I'm not able to make any of them work.

 

Back in version 1, I was able to set up a hotkey to open word, Easily As I recall

 

I am looking for simpler, foolproof way
