seanrwcrawford 6
Currently if I type in "andres" while searching for a contact named "Andrés", the results come back with nothing. It would be great to be able to find contacts with accents within their names, without having to type it specifically. vitor
vitor 897
I vehemently second this request. Also note that the Contacts app handles this correctly.
deanishe 1,451
Alfred Preferences > Features > Contacts > Advanced > [X] Use Spotlight metadata for searching contacts That should do what you want. seanrwcrawford and vitor
seanrwcrawford 6
Totally does, thanks so much @deanishe!
Andrew 828
@deanishe is correct. Unbelievably, the Apple Contacts API doesn't support diacritic insensitive search... so Alfred offers using this which is slightly more reliable when spotlight is acting up, or switching to spotlight which has diacritic insensitive matching.
