Hi,

I'm creating my first workflow, so please bear with me :P

The idea is simple I would like to show a image based on a query. Is there any way to do open something like the finder preview using Alfred?

I don't want to open the image in with something similar to finder quick-look, since this is intended to show a quick help and if opened on preview requires to close it latter.

Thanks

Hi @deanishe I would like to have a really simple workflow that does the following:

- input keyword: ('kl')

- press enter (↩︎)

- input query ('upper')

- press enter (↩︎)

- show image

What I've achieve so far is to use a terminal command action that runs the following:

qlmanage -p ~/.alfred-workflows/keyboard-layouts/{query}.png

This works, it opens Quickview with the specified image, the problem I have now is that it opens a terminal window and process, and this is annoying.

Why do you need to press ↩ between entering keyword and query?

You don't need, but you can, alternatively to inset a space :P Just realise that after your question. Usually I tend to do that if there is an autocomplete before I complete to write the keyword, but in this case it does not make any sense since the keyword are only two letters.
