vitor 895
This is low priority. It’s a minor UI bug that does not prevent functionality. Here’s a Hotkey Trigger I’ve setup with ⌘⇧`: As you can see (or rather, can’t), the ` does not show. However, in practice the keyboard shortcut is recognised and works as intended. Other diacritics such as ~ and ^ have the same behaviour. Link to post
deanishe 1,444
Are those combining characters? How are you entering them, btw? Do Portuguese keyboards have keys for the characters (on an English keyboard, you need to press ALT)? Link to post

Forgot to mention it in the original post, but they’re all keys that if you press them once, they don’t output the character itself, but a kind of “waiting mode”, waiting for a letter. Like this (notice how it gets an underline): If you type an “invalid” letter or the same diacritic, it gets output → ~e ~~. 17 minutes ago, deanishe said: Do Portuguese keyboards have keys for the characters They sure do. Andrew 824
@vitor I'm going to move this to noted. It's actually a pretty tricky thing to fix as Alfred knows it's a dead key you've entered, but macOS doesn't pass Alfred what that virtual dead key should look like, so I can't easily show a string representation for it. It may have to remain a known issue for now. Cheers, Andrew Link to post
