Gordon Firemark
So, it's Alfred 4.2.1 On Catalina From the looks of things, there's NO metadata for the apps that aren't showing up. (this is after running all the Onyx and command lines found in the threads here in forums) Is there a way to rebuild that metadata without a wholesale reinstall of the OS? here's what the troubleshooting tool reveals: Starting Diagnostics... Gordon Firemark
SOLVED! - Spotlight preferences "privacy" tab had the entire "System" folder blocked... went in, deleted from the block list, reindexed... and it's all good. No idea how that folder had ended up blocked! WTF? Link to comment
