Alfred 1.2 crashes when trying to define words and spell

Hi,

 

after typing "define" keyword into search bar it crashes. I've noticed I can type up to letters and then it crashes hard and have to launch the app again. Anyone else experienced this? I was just testing the features when I can across this as I am a brand new user.

Please take a look at the following post and follow the instructions. It’s a set of guidelines to make a good bug report that the team will be able to act on. Information such as your Alfred and macOS versions will be necessary to properly diagnose the issue.

 

Also, have you tried restarting your machine?

@asales1 Welcome to the forum! If you're having issues with the "define" keyword, I assume you're using the Alfred 1.2 from the Mac App Store.

 

Discard this version and install Alfred 3 directly from our website, which is also free. Not only will the "define" keyword work as expected, but you'll benefit from a much-improved and more current version of Alfred
