jmjeong Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Web bookmarks of Alfred provide search functionality for Safari and Chrome. How about supporting to delete or edit bookmarks? Currently, there is one action for the searched bookmark. Please add some modifier in the configuration screen, perform delete or edit bookmark with the modifier key. Please let me know what you think.
vitor Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 This might not be trivial. It’s likely Alfred is reading internal browser databases for that info. Databases that could risk being corrupted if written directly to. For example, Safari’s Reading List database can be easily read, but writing to it directly doesn’t work.
jmjeong Posted August 10, 2018 Author Posted August 10, 2018 I think Safari or Chrome must be stopped before performing editing.

At the very least it would be frustrating to try to edit a bookmark and having Alfred tell you “sorry, you need to close the browser first”.
